dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for looking into our lives and considering us! We are so grateful for your act of courage and selflessness. We want nothing more than to grow our family. Should you bless us with this amazing gift, we promise to love your child with all we are every second of every day.

We simply can’t wait to introduce a little one to the many family members who we know will absolutely adore them! To tell you a not-so-huge secret, Anthony’s parents are already itching to bring their newest grandkid to Disney World, where we go every year. And as for us, we just can’t wait to shower them with all our love, teaching them about how to navigate through life, experiencing different foods and cultures, and taking them to different cities and countries to explore.

We are open to any level of communication you are comfortable with, now and in the future. We are here with open hearts and open arms, eagerly waiting to build our family. Thank you for considering making our dream come true. We hope to meet and talk to you soon!

About Us

Hello. We are Yasmin and Anthony. We met 13 years ago in Chicago and have been inseparable ever since. Anthony was just graduating from college, and Yasmin had just migrated from the Philippines a year prior. We got married nine years ago at Navy Pier and had our honeymoon at Disney World, our home away from home. We’ve been going every year since then; you could say we’re big Disney nerds. When we’re not at Disney, you can find us at home with our son, Ashton, and two puppies, Kimchi and Mochi, or traveling to different cities and countries. We are both in the tech industry, where Anthony is a lead mobile engineer and Yasmin is a lead product designer. Anthony works hybrid and Yasmin works remote, which makes it easy for us to be available for all important events.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of other families, family-friendly community activities, and great schools. We are ten minutes away from our parents, so our families will be very active in our future child’s life. Our house is a two-story home with a large backyard. Our favorite spot is the living room, where we hang out and play with our son. We have two furry babies, Mochi (maltipoo) and Kimchi (mini goldendoodle), who are well trained and can’t wait to be big sisters again.

Our Extended Family

Anthony’s parents live nearby with his sister, nephew, and uncle. His parents are both retired and help take care of Ashton while we work at home. Anthony’s brother is married and lives in a different city with his two kids. Ashton and his cousin are a year apart (literally the same birthday) and are already close. We cannot wait to see all the cousins playing together at their grandparents’ house.

Yasmin was fortunate to have two sets of families. Her dad currently resides in the Philippines, but her two older sisters live in the U.S. She and her sisters love to go on yearly trips to visit their dad and stop somewhere new along the way. Her mom, who is a nurse, lives in another state with Yasmin’s stepdad. Her younger brother lives out of state, and the youngest sister is currently in college. Both families are so excited to welcome another grandchild into their lives, especially Yasmin’s mom.

What Led Us To Adoption

Throughout our relationship, we’ve both been excited about having a child to love and raise. Seven years ago we started trying, but when Yasmin suffered a miscarriage, we turned to IVF. Unfortunately, we learned quickly that Yasmin couldn’t handle all the artificial hormones and invasive treatments. Into our sixth year of trying, Yasmin finally got pregnant but had preeclampsia, which risked both her life and Ashton’s. Ashton was born at 30 weeks and spent seven weeks in the NICU. We both decided it wasn’t worth taking the risk to get pregnant again even though we wanted more kids. Anthony’s mom and aunt were both adopted, and we feel we are meant to adopt as well. We have a lot of love to give and can’t wait to have a sibling for Ashton.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
