About Us
We met volunteering at a church-run tutoring/mentoring program for kids. A year and a half later, we got married and celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary last August. Andy is a deacon at our church, and we host dinners in our home about once a month with church members.
We all love playing board games and outdoor activities in the backyard. Andy is an elevator mechanic and is handy around the house, constantly trying to improve things for the family, especially making the backyard an awesome place for the kids to play.
Virginia stays at home with the kids and is handy in the kitchen. She bakes all sorts of delicious sourdough breads and treats almost daily. She also homeschools the kids. Wednesdays and Fridays, Virginia takes the kids to a local homeschool co-op where they participate in Spanish classes, arts and crafts, reading labs, and Pokémon club.
Our Home
Our home is on a half acre with a big backyard and play equipment. From our backyard, we can see many stars at night due to low light pollution from being towards the outside of the city, and fireworks from all over the city on the 4th of July. It has an attached apartment for Grandma and Grandpa, who are ready to play games with grandkids whenever. We live close to a few parks, an aquarium, natural history museums, and animal preserves here in Southern Nevada.
Our Extended Family
Virginia has 2 older brothers and a twin sister. Her dad lives in the next state over, and we hope he'll move closer in a few years. Virginia's mom and stepdad live with us. They like to paint and do crafts. During the holidays, Virginia's oldest brother visits, and we love to play games with the kids. Their favorite game to play growing up was Mario Kart, and that is still what gets played every time he visits with the kids. Many friends at church have become like uncles and aunties to the children as well.
Andy has one sister. She is married and lives a few states away, but we go visit them in the summer, and they come to visit us around New Year's each year. Andy's parents live a few miles away and are over at our house to spend time with the kids weekly. We are big board game people, so a lot of our time is spent visiting and talking while playing a game. Food is another thing our family loves. We all cook and love to come together for a meal.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted a big family with at least 4 children. The births of our children were complicated, and now it is extremely dangerous for Virginia to get pregnant again. We feel like we are not done growing our family, and adoption was something we were already open to when we started dating and discussed our future together. We've known many families from church that went through adoption and saw how wonderful it was to see those families grow. Also, Virginia's stepdad, David, is adopted, and we both grew up with friends who were adopted, so we have seen the blessing that adoption can be.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
