We want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time and we are here for you throughout this journey. We look forward to getting to know you and hope to form an amazing connection if given the opportunity. Know that we are fully prepared and ready to take this step in our lives. We want to thank you so much for considering helping us grow our family and making our dreams come true.
About Us
We are a very outgoing couple who enjoy spending our time on the river kayaking or finding a nice trail to hike. We also love spending time with our family and friends as well as a nice relaxing weekend at home. Travis is a full-time hazmat delivery driver, and Bret is an HVAC service technician and a full-time RN student. Our typical evenings consist of going to the gym after a long work day then coming home and spending time cooking and throwing the ball for our two dogs. We also enjoy spending weekends camping with our friends and visiting local parks. We are very “go with the flow” type of people who can have a blast doing anything as long as we are together. We spend the majority of our days laughing because we think we are both hilarious, and we encourage each other to be our best selves.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a very small, quiet town in Virginia that has a great community. We live on the outskirts of a few big cities, which makes it the perfect balance of country living but close to lots of different things to do. We have a bunch of local parks and community events in town. We live in a ranch-style home with three bedrooms, two baths, and a large, fenced-in yard. We live in a very nice neighborhood with amazing neighbors who all have small children. We have two dogs, Oakley and Bailey, and a cat named Luna. All three love playing together and enjoy when we have company come over. Our school district is one for the books.
Our Extended Family
Bret grew up in a small town in West Virginia. His parents divorced at a young age, but both remarried and have been with his step-parents for over 20 years now. He has two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. Both of his siblings are married, and he has two nephews and a niece. They love to spend family time having dinners, going on trips, kayaking, and just enjoy being together in general.
Travis grew up in a small town in Virginia with his parents and his two older brothers. His parents have been happily married for 30-plus years. One of his brothers has been married for 13 years, and he has two nephews from them. We enjoy having family nights together and playing board games or cards and watching our favorite shows.
When our families get together, it is always a great time with lots of laughs. It's comforting knowing our families can blend so well together coming from states apart. We always knew from the beginning, before our families got to meet, that they would click instantly, and we are so happy we get to join such amazing people together.
What Led Us To Adoption
Being parents is something we have always envisioned. Shortly after getting married back in 2020, we knew our next step would be making our dreams become a reality by starting this adoption process. We both have family members who have been in the adoption process before, whether it was adoption or placement. We were touched by their stories, which has made our decision to adopt that much easier. We both come from large families, and we are so excited to get the opportunity to have a child of our own and start our little family together.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
