dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We don’t think we can muster the strength to imagine the difficulty of the decision you are considering. Instead, we will say that what you’re considering is one of the bravest and kindest acts one woman can do. We have tried desperately to have children and have been met with loss after loss. What you’re doing is giving hope to us when there was no hope. You’re giving us a chance when we had no chance. All we can say is that the choice you’re considering is nothing short of heroic in our eyes.
If you choose to consider us, our promise to you is that we will never take for granted the sacrifice you have made. We will bring this child into our home and care for them with every ounce of love we have in our hearts. Whatever they choose to do and whomever they choose to be in their lives, we will do everything in our power to ensure they have every opportunity to be the very best version of themselves possible. They will always be a part of our family. They will always feel loved. They will always be protected. Most importantly, no matter what obstacles are thrown their way, we’re going to show them how to overcome them. Thank you for taking the time to consider us.
Jay and Tina
About Us
Hi! We’re Tina and Jay. We started dating in 2017 after meeting online. Jay was in the last years of his military career, and Tina worked as a photographer and digital artist. Jay has an 11-year-old daughter named Julia from a previous marriage. We married in 2019, and Jay retired from the military in 2020. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He currently works as a professor of military science and military history at a major university. Tina is a homemaker. Her days are never dull with getting Julia to school and making sure all of the day-to-day tasks are done. As a family, we love to go out to dinner, enjoy the outdoors, hike a local trail, or sit by the firepit in the backyard.
Our Home & Pets
We have a three-bedroom home in a lovely suburban neighborhood. Jay bought the home in 2015 and we have spent a good deal of time and effort updating it. We have a spacious backyard, good for outdoor activities. Jay spends quite a bit of time in the garage lifting weights while Tina spends her free time gardening. On the hot Summer days, we'll all take a swim in the indoor pool, which stays warm almost year-round. At night, we gather in the basement to watch movies or outside around the fire-pit making s'mores. Julia has a 5 year old Boston Terrier named Betty Boop who loves chasing the ball, soaking up the sun and cuddling with everyone. She is great with other animals and children.
Our Extended Family
Neither of us have large extended families. Jay has always been close with his mother. We are currently in the process of finding her a nursing home as she is at an advanced age. Tina’s mother and father live about two hours away. She is absolute best friends with her mother and tries to do as many things with her as time will allow. We annually travel to a very popular apple orchard every year to pick apples, buy jams, and look at the lilacs that bloom in the area. Tina also has a twin brother who is married to a wonderful woman who is like a sister to her. They have one son, who is seven years old. We absolutely love him to pieces and try to get as many hugs and kisses as we can whenever we see them.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have tried to have children for the past five years. When traditional methods didn’t work, we spent many years working with fertility clinics. We tragically suffered several miscarriages and a stillbirth. It was a heart-wrenching loss that will always be with us. We’ve been handed our share of defeats, but we’re undeterred in building a family together. We’re equally excited for the opportunity that adoption provides us to bring a child into our home which we otherwise may not have had. We love the prospect of providing a child the love and guidance that will sustain them throughout the course of their lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
