dear expectant mother

Words cannot begin to express how grateful we are to be even considered as potential adoptive parents for your child. What you are considering proves not only your strength but also your courage, resiliency, and love for your child. We truly could never say thank you enough.

If you were to choose us, your child would know every day of their life how loved they are—by you and us. They would grow up with a loud, fun extended family who loves hard and supports each other through everything. They would have many sweet memories of growing up swimming in the lake, going to church on Sundays, and dancing to music while cooking dinner as a family. We would love your child like no other every single day of their life. We also promise to make sure they know their story and that they were placed in our family by an incredibly selfless, brave woman.

We understand that adoption is an incredibly emotional process, so we wish you the absolute best in choosing what you feel is right for your baby. Thank you again for considering us for your child. It means the world, and we wish you nothing but peace in this process!

About Us

Hi! We are Isaak (Ike) and Serena, and we are from Minnesota. We have been married for 3.5 years but have known each other almost our whole lives. We grew up in the same town and were actually in the same fifth grade class. However, we were in different friend groups and didn’t cross paths again until after college, when we reconnected at our five-year high school reunion. Serena was living in Texas at the time, and after four months of long distance, she moved back to Minnesota. Not long after that, we were married! We are very close to our families and love spending time with them. We enjoy spending time on the lake, attending sporting events, traveling, and cooking together. Ike works in sales, and Serena works in international marketing. Our faith is the most important thing to us, and we aim to live every day to the fullest!

Our Home & Pets

We live in the wonderful community we grew up in, not 15 minutes from our family. Our five-bedroom home keeps us busy with house projects and working in the yard. Our dog, Hank, would argue that the backyard is his favorite spot to lay in the sun. Hank is a six-year-old good boy, and although he loves to be the center of attention, he also LOVES little kids. He has become quite attached to our eight-month-old nephew and looks forward to becoming a big brother someday. Our community boasts a great school district (where we went K-12), and Serena’s favorite farmer’s market, bakery, boating, and lakeside restaurant. It is the perfect place to raise a family, and we cannot wait to grow ours here.

Our Extended Family

Ike has one brother, who is married, and they have an eight-month-old son who is also our godson! In total, he has one grandpa, nine cousins, and lots of aunts and uncles. We spend a lot of time with Ike’s brother and sister-in-law having bonfires and game nights. Ike’s brother is his best friend, and they have a very special relationship. One of our favorite traditions is visiting a tree farm with them every year to cut down their Christmas tree. We’ve been doing it for four years and look forward to bringing our kids along to experience this in the future.

Serena has one younger brother, three grandparents, 14 cousins, and three kids of her older cousin who are like nieces and nephews to us. Her mom’s side is a large Hispanic family that gets together often and loves to show up for each other no matter the occasion. Everyone lives within 30 minutes of each other, so family dinners happen monthly. One of our favorite traditions is tying boats together on the Fourth of July, swimming with the kids, grilling, and watching the fireworks from the boat. It is truly Serena’s favorite day of the year.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always known we were meant to be a mom and dad, even before we met. After experiencing a few years of infertility and loss, we have never been so confident that adoption is how we are meant to grow our family. Knowing several family and friends who have either adopted or been adopted themselves has been a blessing, and we have been lucky enough to watch their beautiful stories. We are so confident God has brought adoption into our lives for a reason, and we’re grateful to be in a place with so much love and support from our family and friends in this process. We are hopeful we will be able to welcome a precious little one into our family soon!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
