About Us
Our names are Lionel and Sade, hailing from Rhode Island. Our love for each other runs deep, and we cherish it dearly. We are not only partners in crime but also best friends who support each other through thick and thin. Lionel comes from the U.S. Virgin Islands, where his family still resides. He values his family above all else and is a hard-working individual with a kind heart. Sade is a hard-working and driven individual who can be quite goofy at times. We have a passion for traveling, connecting with loved ones, and learning new things. Our family is diverse and inclusive, and we pride ourselves on being open minded. Together, we make a power couple with Lionel's handy skills and Sade's computer skills. We love children and value honesty and trust in our relationship.
Our Home
We are blessed to call Rhode Island, the tiniest state in the U.S., our home. Growing up in a small state has its perks as we get to experience the joys of familial bonds and familiarity with our community. Our state is so compact that you can travel from one end to another in less than 45 minutes! We believe in the adage “less is more” and take pleasure in leading a simple life without breaking the bank. Our abode is cozy and personalized to our liking after six years of remodeling. We have a lovely backyard and enclosed deck where we entertain our loved ones. Despite its modest size, everyone seems to gravitate toward our humble abode—and that’s what we love about it.
Our Extended Family
Our families are filled with love and energy, and our parents have strong bonds with each other. Lionel’s parents have been happily married for over 40 years, while Sade’s parents have been best friends since her birth. Lionel’s family resides mostly in the Virgin Islands, which allows us to visit the beautiful island at least once a year. Meanwhile, Sade’s family is just a short, five-minute drive away, and we connect with them on a daily basis. With a total of 30 nieces and nephews and 10 siblings between us, our hearts are overflowing with love for our extended family.
Lionel’s adorable son, Lionel Jr, resides with his mother and graces us with his presence every other weekend. At the tender age of four, he exudes kindness, happiness, and intelligence. His excitement at having a sibling is uncontainable as he talks about it with love every single day. We truly mean every day!
Our families share a deep passion for cooking and gathering together, whether it's for special occasions or small victories. We come from a lineage of resilient parents who built their families from scratch through hard work and determination. Witnessing their unwavering love and dedication has taught us to always prioritize our family and never lose sight of what truly matters in life.
What Led Us To Adoption
Despite Sade not being able to conceive, we have always known having a child together was something we wanted. It was as if we were both thinking the same thing at the same time: “Let's adopt!” The more we researched, the more our decision was reaffirmed. We were moved by the countless stories of mothers who chose adoption and the love they had for their children. It is clear to us that adoption is the right choice for us, and we cannot wait to welcome a child into our lives with open arms and hearts full of love.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
