Laura and Robert
About Us
Hi! We're Robert and Laura, and we are from Pennsylvania. We were introduced to each other in the summer of 2013 by mutual friends and quickly realized how much we had in common and how much fun we had together. We started dating shortly after meeting, and by the summer of 2018, we got married and moved into our beautiful home.
Laura is hardworking, funny, and full of fun energy. Robert is dedicated, down to earth, and very active. Laura is a nurse and loves helping people. Robert is an accounting manager for a private equity-backed company and is very dedicated to his work.
In our free time, we love taking our son, Declan, for long walks through our neighborhood, and visiting our favorite playgrounds with friends and family that live close by, having movie nights, eating out at our favorite local restaurants, and traveling to new places.
Our Home
We live in a tucked away, quiet suburban neighborhood in Pennsylvania. Our house is a four-bedroom, open-concept, split-level home with a large backyard and patio to enjoy when the weather is nice. We are surrounded by many parks and playgrounds to enjoy outdoor activities and live in one of the safest and top school districts in the area.
Our neighborhood is very family friendly, with kids of all ages. We have many friends and family within walking distance with whom we have made so many memories.
Our Extended Family
We both come from very big, fun-loving families. Robert grew up with a loving mother and father and has two sisters, one older and one younger. He also grew up with more than 20 cousins close in age to him. Growing up, they liked to play sports together, go to the beach in the summertime, and have big family reunions. His favorite family tradition is Thanksgiving, where they all get together under one roof to celebrate the holiday.
Laura has three brothers, one older and two younger. Her parents divorced very early in her life, but both raised her into the woman she is today. They remain great friends to this day. Laura and her family loved to go on family trips to tropical islands and cruises. Summers were spent at her family beach house with her 18 cousins. Christmas brunch with her entire family is her favorite family tradition.
We both have tight-knit families we love spending time with. Our families are growing rapidly, adding new little ones every year.
What Led Us To Adoption
Since we met, we have both always talked about our dream of having a family of our own. We struggled with infertility for many years but have stayed positive, which has led us to our adoption journey. We were blessed with our greatest gift, our son, through adoption. The experience was nothing short of amazing!
Our son, Declan, has been the center of our universe ever since. Declan is our world, but we know we still have so much love to give to another child. Declan would also be the most amazing big brother! We are so excited to open our hearts and grow our family with another child through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
