dear expectant mother

We can only imagine the strength, thoughtfulness, and love that go into a decision like this. The courage it takes to choose what you believe is best for your child is something most people never have to face, and we deeply respect you for considering adoption as part of your journey. Whether or not you choose us, please know how remarkable you are, and thank you for your strength.

If you do choose our family, it’s important for you to know that we will dedicate ourselves fully to giving our future child every opportunity. Their growth, education, and personal development will be our highest priorities, and we’ll make sure they always feel supported, valued, and loved. They will be surrounded by a network of friends, family, and coworkers who understand how significant this is for us and are ready to cheer them on in every step of life.

About Us

We met online and felt an immediate connection. After just two dates and several weeks of texting and FaceTiming (since we both traveled often for work), we officially began seeing each other exclusively. Coming from very different backgrounds, we weren’t sure what to expect from our families, but we’ve navigated it all together. Now, after six years, we work side by side in our family business and spend a lot of time together, both at work and doing the things we love. There’s nothing more rewarding than building a life with the person you love. We’re passionate about our journey and the future we’re creating for ourselves and our future children.

Our Home & Pets

We currently live in a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath condo while waiting for our new home to be built. After starting our lives in Michigan, we moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We had been traveling there for work every month for almost a year and fell in love with the weather, the community, and the people, so we decided to make it our permanent home. Although we left family and friends behind, we’ve already made new friends, enjoy spending time with our coworkers, and participate in family-friendly community events. We have a five-year-old labradoodle named Theodore and a six-year-old cat named Louise, who are both well behaved and loved by everyone. As we work on building our home, we’re focused on creating a private and safe place where our friends and family can gather. We’re even adding extra space for guests to host family reunions and get-togethers.

Our Extended Family

Steven’s grandparents have all passed except for his maternal grandmother, who is quite elderly but still visited often by family while she lives with Steven’s aunt. Riley’s grandparents have also passed, but his parents are now grandparents to his five nieces and nephews. Steven has one older brother, while Riley’s brother passed away five years ago from a chronic illness, leaving behind his sister.

Family is very important to us, and we love attending cousins’ birthday parties, children’s sports games, and holiday gatherings. We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from our friends and family. Our close friends have already provided many essentials, ensuring we’re ready for whatever comes our way. Working in a family business also means that many of our coworkers are extended family members who continue to offer guidance, education, and support when we need time away from the office.

What Led Us To Adoption

After we met and started talking about our individual wants and needs, both of us knew we would make great dads. It wasn’t long after we made our relationship official that we realized how strong our bond was. Having a unique understanding of different communities and each other, we knew we could create a safe environment for a child. We heard about Angel Adoption and the work they’ve done to connect families all over the U.S., and we decided this was the path for us. We’re overjoyed at the idea of being dads, but our primary goal is to be the light to a little one and create a great life with them and for them. Thank you for considering us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
