dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us as a potential family for your precious child. Although we can’t pretend to know what led you to make the decision to consider adoption for your baby, we do know this must be the most difficult choice a human being could make.
We have been married for just over ten years, and we spent time building up our careers to be sure we were financially and emotionally ready to start our family. Of our ten years of marriage, we have been intent on starting that family for a little over two. We have imagined play dates with other children, sharing precious moments with grandparents, and perfectly chaotic evenings and weekends as a child grows up and creates their own little personality with hobbies and school activities.
We can promise that if you choose this path for your child, you will never need to worry about whether he or she is loved and valued, and you can rest assured that this baby will grow up in a home with an abundance of immediate and extended family that loves to be together.
We hope we have been able to provide some insight into what life would be like for your child, and I cannot express enough gratitude for your consideration.
About Us
Hello! We are Olivia and Clayton, and we have been married for ten years. We are two career-minded but also adventurous people who enjoy sports, traveling, and the outdoors. We both love to laugh and have a good time with family and friends but also enjoy being at home in a comfortable setting. We love to attend sporting events when possible (football, baseball, and hockey) and have our own individual hobbies of playing soccer and riding and showing horses (Olivia) or fishing and playing golf (Clayton). We have two amazing dogs (a chihuahua mix and a golden retriever), one older cat, and a horse. We also love spending our summers at our parents’ lake house riding around on the boat and floating in the water at the dock.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the southeast U.S. in a golf course HOA community. Extended family lives merely a few streets away. We have access to many outdoor recreational areas, state parks, lakes, and the mountains, and we are within close proximity to large attractions as well as beaches. The community is full of family-friendly activities for all seasons, one of our favorite being Fourth of July fireworks on the lake, and we are close to many other cities for even more opportunities to spend the days or weekends exploring.
Our Extended Family
We each have extended family members in multiple cities in multiple states, all of whom look forward to having every opportunity to spend time with our new addition.
In our town, we have family who live in the same neighborhood as we do (mother and father, brother), and we see each other often for dinner or a round of golf on the weekends. We also enjoy traveling together to Cabo, Las Vegas, or Biloxi and even on cruises to the Caribbean. Then we have family in Florida (father and mother, sister), and we take every chance we can to visit each other. We enjoy going to the theme parks or the beaches together.
Holidays revolve around our families—spending Thanksgiving with grandparents and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our parents at home or in Florida. Our favorite is Christmas Eve for the spaghetti and shrimp dinner and Christmas Day lunch with all of the aunts, uncles, cousins, and their children whom we have watched grow up since they were babies.
What Led Us To Adoption
We decided to pursue adoption because we have struggled with our own fertility issues, and we are financially and emotionally ready to care and provide for a child. We are excited at the possibility of sharing our lives with a child, and we can’t wait to create new memories and experiences. We have an aunt and uncle who have adopted multiple children at various ages, and we see what a positive impact that has had on their lives as a family. We would really enjoy having a similar experience.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
