dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
What a gift it is to be able to have this opportunity to write to you! How nervous, anxious, conflicted and emotional you must feel. Although we don’t know exactly how you feel, we have felt similar feelings that you may be feeling right now: disappointment, anxiety, hopelessness or fear.
Finding out that we are not able to have our own child biologically came as a huge surprise to us. Our one dream in life is to be able to have children together, to raise them, love them and help them to become the very best version of themselves. Although we are not able to have our own biologically, we see no difference in the love that we will share with our future adopted child. All children are a gift, and how honored and blessed we will be to one day have our own.
We believe that God has a plan for our lives and yours. Whether you choose us to be your child’s parents or not, we are praying for you and this important life decision you are making. It is because of strong, compassionate and sacrificial women like you that families like ours are able to make our dreams a reality.
Thank you for choosing to bring your baby into this world- you are an amazing woman and we hope that you find peace throughout this process.
Love,
Alec & Olivia
About Us
Alec is a medical student and is studying to become a doctor. He loves taking care of others and has worked in multiple urgent cares and ERs in the past. He was a college football player and was in seminary for a year. His faith is incredibly important to him, and he is passionate about everything he does. He gives the best hugs and makes you feel incredibly special whenever you talk to him. Olivia is his best friend, and he can’t imagine life without her. Olivia teaches high school theology and loves her students! She has taught for ten years and could not go a day without spending time with kids. She loves going on runs, baking and cooking new recipes, and exploring new areas with our dog, Enzo. She is outgoing, friendly, warm, and joyful and attributes this all to her faith in God. Alec is her best friend, and she is grateful every day for him.
Our Home & Pets
We absolutely love where we live! We live in a small condominium community, one of many in a larger community. It is the cleanest, most peaceful, and friendliest place we could have imagined. The mountains are right across the street from us, so we get to see their majestic beauty every day. Everything you can imagine is near us; you don’t have to travel more than 15 minutes for anything. Our dog, Enzo, helps us explore every aspect of our community: the parks, trails, and neighborhoods. He is a five-year-old golden retriever mix and is as calm and sweet as can be. He gets along wonderfully with everyone and is beloved by our neighbors.
Our Extended Family
We love our family! Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter are three holidays full of love since we have three sets of parents and our siblings and friends to see. We love our siblings and parents and thank God every day for the love and support we receive from them. They are all our closest friends, and having such a strong support system is something we do not take for granted.
Alec has two sets of parents: his mom and his stepdad and his dad and his stepmom. They have beautiful relationships, and we love spending time with each of them. His older sister and her husband have two daughters, and his younger sister and her partner have two daughters. His huge network of cousins get together multiple times a year outside of family parties.
Olivia’s parents have been together since they were fifteen and sixteen years old. Her older brother and his wife have two sons and a daughter; their oldest son has Angelman’s Syndrome, and he is such a light in our lives! Olivia’s older sister and husband have two daughters and a son. Her younger sister and her boyfriend love to spend time with us as often as we can, and we love to take family vacations once a year.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are so blessed to have this opportunity to adopt. It has been a long and winding journey, but we truly believe this is where God wants us. After many years. we found out we are not able to have biological children. Although this was incredibly difficult to learn, we believe this is what was meant to be. We have encountered many families at our church that have adopted, and Olivia has taught adopted children as well. Each family loves their adopted children as their own; there is no difference between them and their biological siblings. We are so excited at the opportunity to have our own child thanks to the sacrifice of their brave mother.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
