About Us
We have fun-loving personalities with a great sense of humor. We are serious when needed, but we like to keep things lighthearted in our home. We both love children and teaching. Michelle recently started her own business but previously taught middle and high school for 16 years and has a master’s degree in education. Eric is excited to start his twelfth year of teaching middle and high school this year. We have both been leaders in Boys Scouts of America, and we work with our church’s youth group. We love listening to and playing music, trying new restaurants, going to comedy shows and concerts, traveling, and just spending time together! Eric enjoys fixing our cars and home repair, while Michelle likes gardening, cooking, and trying new recipes.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a cozy, loving space with a playful cat. Nestled in a family-friendly neighborhood with tree-lined streets, a community pool and private pond, a clubhouse, and large open common areas, our community thrives on togetherness. We designed and purchased our home. Eric has served as HOA president since 2020 and has successfully managed several major projects in our community, including getting the streets paved in our neighborhood! Local attractions include the largest park in our county, numerous walking and bike trails, family-friendly restaurants, and a nature center. We have access to the best, top-rated schools in the district that offer an excellent education and a wide variety of extracurricular activities. What makes our place special is the warm, welcoming vibe that makes everyone feel at home.
Our Extended Family
Our extended family is very large and close knit, with Eric’s seven siblings and Michelle’s two sisters, numerous cousins, and loving grandparents. Michelle’s parents have been together over 45 years and Eric’s parents almost 50! We have a very large and strong family.
We cherish spending time together, often gathering for big family get-togethers. Our favorite activities include hiking, playing board games, and celebrating holidays together. We share deep bonds with our siblings, and our cousins are like additional siblings. A cherished tradition is our annual reunion at the family house, where we enjoy great conversation and spending time together. This tradition keeps us connected and creates lasting memories.
What Led Us To Adoption
Since the very first day of our marriage, we have always wanted to grow our family, but we were not able to on our own. We came to our adoption journey through prayer and the support of friends and family who have adopted and were adopted. We are so grateful to be considered to be trusted with your baby. Through our experience teaching, we know we have a lot of love to give, and we are more than ready to experience the joy of motherhood and fatherhood. We have a lot of experience working with children of every age. If you choose our family, your child will receive the utmost care and guidance.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
