dear expectant mother
Dear Mom,
We can only imagine what it is like for you as you face this difficult decision, and we admire the love you have for your unborn child. Considering adoption for your baby is admirable, and we have nothing but love and respect for you. While we are excited about the possibility of caring for your child, we also understand the grief that goes with that decision.
As Christians, we believe God has led us on this journey of adoption. It is important to us that we fill our home with love, forgiveness, and learning about God’s grace. We would love the opportunity to meet you and get to know you better. Our hope is to continue to build a relationship between our family, you, and your child.
We promise to love your child unconditionally and to help them grow to become the best they can be. We will help your son or daughter navigate the ups and downs of life, enabling them to grow into a strong, loving, and kind person. God, faith, and love will be the center of our home life. We promise to honor you and your wishes and are comfortable with the type of contact you choose to have with our family.
About Us
We are Reymar and Melissa! We met over 18 years ago through our church. What started out as a friendship while leading a teen group turned into love 16 years later. We love going on adventures together. You can usually find us doing karaoke, dancing, telling dad jokes, spending time with family, going on walks with our dogs, or going to the movies. We also love to travel and explore new places. Our favorites so far are Maui and Mexico. We are excited to add a travel and singing partner to our family. Melissa is a nurse practitioner who loves to read, do puzzles, craft, and decorate the house for holidays. Reymar works with veterans as a medical service associate. Reymar loves to golf, play pool, watch sports, and play cards.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a newly built two-story, four-bedroom house in a close-knit community in the western suburbs of Chicago. We share our home with our two fun dogs, Harley and Liam. Our neighbors have quickly become friends, and there are a lot of young kids in our culturally diverse community. We envision our child riding their bike up and down the street and making friends with all the kids in the neighborhood. We are in a nationally ranked school district with many opportunities and close to many museums and outdoor trails. We are also close to our church family as well. They are the ones who help us grow closer to God and be better people and spouses, and they will also help guide us as parents.
Our Extended Family
Our families both live in the surrounding area. Reymar’s family is a large, traditional Filipino family who loves to spend time together going to waterparks, singing karaoke, or going on picnics. There are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews to share holidays and any random Saturday with. Melissa’s family is smaller. Her brother and sister-in-law have two children who love to have sleepovers with Auntie Melissa and Uncle Reymar.
Melissa is also very close with her mother and two sisters. We all like to get together and watch old movies and look through old photos of our family through the years. Everyone is excited for us to start our family. Your child will be loved and cherished by us and all our family and friends.
What Led Us To Adoption
After we got married, we immediately talked about starting a family. We both love children and cannot wait to be parents. After considering our options, we feel adoption is how we were meant to grow our family. We are extremely excited to add a child to our fun-loving family and are prepared for all the adventures and joy that parenting brings.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
