dear expectant mother
We will never be able to find the right words to truly express how grateful and lucky we are to even be considered by you during this significant time. If we are privileged to be chosen, we promise that your child will always know their story, understand where they come from, and sincerely know and feel how loved they have been from the very beginning of their life.
We know we will be able to provide a home that is filled with love and joy. We will read lots of stories together, play games, create our own artistic masterpieces, and go on lots of adventures. We will cherish the opportunity to love your child and focus on teaching them to be kind to others; to be brave, strong, and confident as they experience all the world has to offer; and to really see and appreciate the magic and beauty that surrounds us every day.
A child we are lucky to be able to raise will have amazing grandparents to spend time with, three happy cousins to play with, and a colorful, cozy, and warm home to grow up in. They will be loved, they will be supported, and they will be treated as the miracle that they truly are.
We greatly admire your strength and your courage. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us to be adoptive parents for your child.
With love,
Melissa and Joe
About Us
Hi! We are Joe and Melissa from Missouri. We have been in each other’s lives for many years because Joe went to high school with one of Melissa’s little sisters. We fell in love a few years ago and have been sharing a wonderful life together ever since by making lots of memories and trying to treat every day like a new adventure. We love to take road trips and vacations, experience everything our city has to offer, go to baseball games, explore museums and gardens, and plan outings and events with our extended families. Melissa loves to read memoirs and novels, see all of the new movies and the old classics, and spend time painting and drawing. Joe loves baseball, listening to audiobooks, watching comedy TV shows, and playing video games. He likes to go on long road trips and explore new cities.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a one-floor, two-bedroom home in a major city in Missouri. We have filled our home with lots of art, books, movies, and color. Our backyard is fenced in and rather big for a house in the city, and we spend a lot of time outside reading and relaxing. There are tiger lilies and other plants growing that Melissa’s grandma planted years ago. We have one black cat named Cece. She’s quiet and sweet and likes to sleep on the sofa in the sun. Our home is on a safe and pretty block with lots of neighbors and is very close to many parks, theaters, museums, schools, restaurants, and cultural attractions.
Our Extended Family
We are both extremely close with our families. Our parents all live nearby, and we make it a priority to spend as much quality time with them as possible because we know how lucky we are to have them in our lives. Melissa is a big sister to three awesome women and is proud to be an aunt to her niece (four years old) and two nephews (eight and ten). Joe has one younger brother he is very close to and seven cousins who all grew up together. He is also lucky to have two amazing grandparents still with us.
We have weekly family dinners and yearly vacations together and celebrate all of our birthdays and holidays with lots of fun, food, and laughter. Whether we’re out and about at a family festival or baseball game, going on an after-dinner ice cream run, or just playing Uno or doing a puzzle together at home, we try to make every experience magical.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted to be parents and know wholeheartedly that we have so much love to share. We were not able to have biological children, but the journey to grow our family has brought us closer and closer together along the way. We have focused on being the best partners we can be to each other and are so honored to have the opportunity to bring a child into our loving and supportive family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
