dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are so happy, and our hearts are overflowing that you took the time to look at our profile. Words cannot express the feelings of admiration we have for you and the selfless decision you are considering. The time, thought, research, and energy you are putting into this decision make you a good mother. Thinking about your child’s needs and future makes you a good mother. Loving the life inside of you makes you a good mother.
We love being together as a family with our pups, and adopting your child would light up our lives. We are excited to be parents and ready to start new traditions. Our pups are going to be the best guard dogs until your child is old enough to play. Once they are older, the pups will give all the kisses and playtime with your child. There won’t be a day without laughter or a smile on their face.
We would be so humbled if you chose us for adoption. Your child will be loved beyond words and will be raised in a home filled with love, guidance, silliness, happiness, and laughter. We promise to give them the best life possible. We will show them two loving parents with a strong, healthy relationship. We’ll support any adoption plan and communication you choose. Most importantly, your child will always be safe and know they are so very loved and wanted. We hope you find peace and comfort in your adoption journey.
About Us
Hello, we are Dan and Melissa from Wisconsin. Nice to meet you! We were both born here, but Dan grew up near Chicago. We met in November 2011, engaged on New Year’s Eve 2015, and married in September 2016. Dan is hardworking, dedicated, an amazing cook and loves to be silly; our dogs think it’s his best quality. Melissa is outgoing, honest and enjoys acts of kindness. She loves to make people smile. We have lived in our renovated home since 2014 and look forward to continuing making memories here. We love trivia, puzzles, and a good cup of coffee. We are lovers of all animals. Dan’s job is a five-minute drive from our home, and Melissa has the flexibility to work from home or in the office. Some of our favorite times are spent together with family and friends, going on walks together, or going to the zoo or museum.
Our Home & Pets
With our wonderful pups, Diggy, Lucy, and Bogo, we live in our ranch-style home in a safe, rural area in Wisconsin. Our home is filled with love and lots of laughter. There’s a large window overlooking our backyard, and the yard is perfect for making snowmen, playing catch, or simply running around. We have a bonfire pit and a large walk-out basement with a deck. We have a large garden where we grow plenty of vegetables every summer. We live in an area where taking walks every day is possible. Our home is country living with the ability to be only five to ten minutes from everything in the city.
Our Extended Family
Melissa has three brothers and two step-siblings. Her siblings are all married with children. Between them, the kids range in age from 3 to 25. Our family gatherings are full and chaotic, and it’s the best! With Melissa’s large family also, it’s hard to get everyone together! Melissa’s family is within Wisconsin, and the furthest is within a 1.5-hour drive. We get together for the holidays and make sure to visit bi-monthly. Melissa is very close to her mom.
Dan has one sister. We are very close to Dan’s family and get together frequently. Dan’s grandmother lives a 45-minute drive from us, and his parents live an hour away. Dan’s family lives in Texas as well. Several relatives live there, while many are in Wisconsin also.
All of our gatherings are held around the kitchen table while talking and laughing! We have a yearly tradition of Christmas cookie day with Dan’s family. A tradition we’d like to begin is giving a new ornament each year to our new addition. We are very sentimental, so anything with memories, we’d love to pass on. Both of our families are ecstatic we are adopting!
What Led Us To Adoption
Our hearts burst with excitement at the possibility of adoption. The chance of being given the opportunity to raise a sweet baby with someone else’s trust means so much. We’ve always wanted to be parents. “What did you want to be when you grow up?” Melissa would reply, “A mom.” We have tried naturally and with fertility treatments for several years, but it wasn’t meant to be our path. Adoption was always an option for us. Dan’s cousin and Melissa’s brother were both touched by adoption. We believe adoption is our path and this will bring us closer to our little one.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
