dear expectant mother
Dear Momma + Baby,
It is not lost on us how fortunate we are to be walking alongside this journey with you. We are so thankful for you and your trust in us during such a difficult time that can be accompanied by so many valid and complex emotions that go along with adoption. We want to offer support through those emotions as well as reassurance that we have so much love to give to not only you but your baby—from the little moments and big moments to hard and happy moments for their entire lifetime.
We promise to raise your baby with the values and morals that mean the most to us: respecting and showing compassion and kindness to others, taking responsibility for their actions even when it’s challenging, and showing humility. We intend to do this through lots of love, guidance, open conversations, and prayer. We promise to always lead with love, have fun, enjoy the small moments, and go on as many adventures—big or small—as possible. And last but not least, we promise to honor you. Words simply cannot express our gratitude toward you.
About Us
Hi! We are glad you are here! We are Kevin and Meggie, a married couple of almost eight years with two boys (ages six and three). We are both lucky to be employed in jobs we enjoy: Kevin in the pork industry and Meggie working with children on the autism spectrum. While work and daily to-dos keep us busy, the hours of 5-7 p.m. are sacred on weeknights for prioritizing downtime as a family, catching up on everyone's day, and enjoying meals together. On weekends and otherwise, if we aren’t running around or lovin’ on our kids, we enjoy staying active with exercise, going on a good date night (at home or on the town), attending church, spending time with friends, attending local events (hockey is a favorite), and traveling as we are able.
Our Home & Pets
Living in a college town is a huge part of why we love where we live. There is always something going on and good energy all around! We live in town within a subdivision in which we love to utilize walking trails almost daily when the weather is warm. Another reason we love where we live is we are close to so many close friends and family. Doing life with those you love truly is a blessing. Currently our children are enrolled in a small school about five minutes from our house. We love the community it brings.
Our Extended Family
Kevin is the middle of three kids, with one older sister and one younger sister. Both sisters are married, and the oldest has a daughter and a little boy on the way! Kevin’s parents are still married and enjoy retirement together, especially camping! Although his family does not live as near as we would all like, time together is valued and prioritized several times a year.
Meggie is the youngest of three daughters. Both older sisters are married and proud boy moms, with three nephews on Meggie’s side of the family. Meggie’s parents live in town and get to spend time with us, both planned and unplanned. Structured vacations and random get-togethers are a part of life for this side of the family. Although life never slows down, a good balance of family time occurs between both sides of the family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always been something on Meggie’s heart. Since the time she was young, it was part of her life plan, hopes, and dreams. As time continued throughout our marriage, Kevin became more open to the idea, and after many months talking, thinking, and praying on it, we are clear this is a journey we are meant to be a part of. We have always seen ourselves as having a family of five, and adoption is the only way we want to achieve completing our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
