dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Parents,
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our family. We are grateful that you love your unborn child so much that you are willing to consider an adoption plan for them. The love and care you have for this child and the time you are taking to determine the best circumstances is inspiring. We want you to know this child is just as important to us. We have both been touched by adoption in our lives and are excited and nervous to become new parents.
We met about eight years ago and knew right away that we were meant to spend a lifetime together. We both grew up in families that were very close, and we see each other often. Our future children will have the best family that will always be there to support them.
We are so thankful for you and see this as the best gift that could ever be given to us. We dream of holding our child and supporting them through their many interests and ventures in life. They will be the one who made us parents.
Maybe you have already made up your mind about finding parents to care for this child, or maybe you are just starting to think about adoption. Either way, you are an amazing mother for deciding what is the best opportunity for you and your child.
Sincerely,
Matt and Lauren
About Us
We have been together for eight years and married for six, after connecting on a popular dating site. We enjoy exploring our city as a couple and doing things like exploring museums, local rodeos, sporting events, concerts, etc. Matt is a physical education teacher working with pre-K through fifth grade. He focuses on laying the foundation for his students to create healthy lifestyles. Lauren works in the medical device field as a quality systems manager and is responsible for ensuring that the company follows the regulations of the FDA and European Union. On the weekends, we enjoy trying new restaurants, perusing local boutiques and antique shops, and working on home projects. In the evenings, we enjoy making dinner together then relaxing with a good show while cuddling with our pets, Henry and Trevi.
Our Home & Pets
We purchased a home with a large backyard two years ago with the plan to start a family. Our neighborhood feels like a small suburb but is located within the limits of a large city. We do not consider ourselves city people; however, we enjoy living near all the museums, sporting events, and city events that happen year round. Matt rescued our dog, Henry, at four months old, and he is now nine. Lauren adopted our cat, Trevi, while we were dating; she is now nine as well. Henry never forgets to tell us when it’s time for his evening snack, while Trevi also makes sure she is not forgotten. Trevi loves to cuddle, and Henry makes sure he is near us at all times.
Our Extended Family
Lauren’s family consists of her father, mother, and two sisters. She grew up near her dad’s family, and they saw each other quite often to celebrate birthdays and holidays. They also spent a lot of time together boating and waterskiing at their grandparents’ cabin. Lauren also grew up close to her cousins on her mom’s side, with weekend visits. They would spend time putting together musical performances and plays for the parents.
Matt has a twin brother and stepbrother. His twin brother lives close by and is married with two kids, allowing us to be present at their sporting events and school performances. Matt’s dad remarried a wonderful woman who loves him and his brother like her own children. His stepbrother has two kids and lives near his father and stepmother. Matt’s mother remarried a great man and role model. Matt grew up spending time with his cousins, who all lived near his father, and has many great memories of sleepovers and holidays together.
What Led Us To Adoption
Having children has always been a desire of ours. Both being from large extended families, we dream of having a large family. Lauren’s father passed away very early, and she was adopted by her stepfather, who raised her as his own. This had been modeled to him by his parents through their blended family. Matt’s mother was adopted. Her adoptive parents passed away early in her life, yet she remains close to her extended family. Matt’s stepmom came into his life at sixteen and adores him. She models respect for people’s family history through allowing the sharing of family stories. Throughout our lives, it has been modeled that family is created through different avenues, each with history and beauty that is unique and absolutely loved.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
