dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for taking your time and showing interest in meeting us through our profile. At the heart of such a decision is a situation we truly cannot comprehend or describe. What we can do is assure you that if you decide to embark on this journey with us, you will know he or she will be consumed with profound delight and unconditional love.
You can picture your child traveling with the both of us, cooking and dancing with Itzel, playing golf, practicing the piano, and learning Spanish alongside Matt. There is no doubt your child will learn these talents faster than Matt. More importantly, though, you can imagine your child not only with us but with loving and supporting grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We would be remiss not to mention how brave and selfless we think you are. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and admiration for considering us to give your child the world you envision: the world filled with infinite love, support, and opportunity. Maybe this is the life you picture; maybe you envision a different one. Either way, we respect you immensely, and we are confident that the love for your child is unwavering and you will do what you know is best for him or her.
With love,
Matt and Itzel
About Us
We are Matt and Itzel! Matt is from the U.S., and Itzel is from Mexico. We met through mutual friends in 2018, and we are getting married in July 2024. We met while we both worked in Florida. While we loved the area, a new opportunity arose, and we recently moved to a small Midwestern town. Itzel is a biologist who is passionate about turtles and their conservation. Matt’s research passion focuses on saving dogs, cats, and horses from bacterial infections and snakebites. We love to travel, spend time outdoors, make each other laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. We both find it rewarding and exciting building a home with Mexican and American traditions. We are always learning about each other’s lifestyles, from cooking to different ways to enjoy life, and we cannot wait to offer this to our future children.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a charming, safe, and beautiful neighborhood. Since recently moving, we both agreed this was the perfect place to raise our children. We live in a cozy home surrounded by parks and other natural settings nearby to enjoy the outdoors. The community is very friendly and family oriented, and the public schools are highly rated. Moving across the country is never the right time to buy a house. However, after our time here, we are now looking for our perfect forever home, complete with a couple of children. We both love animals, and we recently adopted two five-year-old cats that needed a loving home. We immediately fell in love with them. They are the sweetest and most affectionate cats!
Our Extended Family
Our families are the most important thing to us. Matt’s family has held an annual tradition of vacationing in the Virginia mountains since he was a young boy. We enjoy hiking, white-water rafting, and playing sports. We have a three-year-old nephew, and we absolutely adore him. Whether we kick a ball or read stories for hours, we cannot get enough of him. At the end of the day, we get together for dinner and board games. While all of these activities are fun, nothing compares to what tradition and family time are about: enjoying each other’s company.
On Itzel’s side of the family, we have three nephews and a niece. It has been such a joy watching them grow from toddlers to the wonderful individuals they have become. Itzel’s extended family also has an annual tradition where the entire family travels to a different destination in Mexico. When we are not sightseeing in natural and beautiful environments (see pictures!), we are playing board games, dancing, and singing. It truly has been an extraordinary privilege to show each other the history, cuisines, and people of both our home countries, and we cannot wait to share that privilege with our children.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are extremely excited about our shared dream of completing our family with a couple of children. From our early days of dating, we envisioned a home full of laughter and joy while watching each other and our children learn, grow, and love. Once we realized we could not have children biologically, we knew adoption was the journey we wanted to embark on toward parenthood. This delay offered us the opportunity to be a stronger couple and provided us with increased confidence as we grew more emotionally and financially stable. With each step of the adoption process, our enthusiasm only continues to grow as each stage reinforces our excitement of forming new bonds, creating lasting memories, and loving unconditionally.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
