dear expectant mother
We cannot pretend to understand what you are feeling right now. All we know is that you are exploring the best options for you and your baby. We want to thank you for being so strong and brave. Without a doubt, choosing to place your baby for adoption is one of the most emotional decisions you will make in your life. We pray this decision will provide you with the future you envision for yourself.
Your decision to choose adoption will provide your baby with the most beautiful and important gift you could ever give: the gift of unconditional love, support, and stability from a family. If we are chosen to be your baby’s parents, we will make certain your child never forgets your selflessness. We will remind them that you gave a gift that is far greater than anything that could be purchased. Your decision to choose adoption will make the dreams of two people come true—two people with a tremendous void in their lives and with so much love to give who are unable to have a child themselves.
If you choose us, your baby will be raised to be kind, positive, strong, and intelligent. Your child will live in a safe and loving home, have opportunities to travel the world, and be provided with a strong education. We would love to get to know you so you can be confident in your decision! May we share this journey with you?
About Us
Hi! We are Brad and Marissa. Brad is a laboratory manager at a Superfund site. His main objective is to make sure our drinking water is chemical free. Marissa works as a paralegal at her dad’s law firm. The office is excited to have a baby around every day.
We love outdoor activities no matter the season! Throughout the year, you can find us hiking, taking the dogs for a swim, or lounging in the backyard with some music and a book. We enjoy golfing, traveling, and sports. Marissa received her bachelor’s from Michigan State University. She was a competitive swimmer and swam at Western Michigan University while studying for her MBA. After graduating, she started coaching swimming for the local YMCA. Brad played baseball in high school and pickup games in college. He received his bachelor’s from Central Michigan University. He still loves to play catch!
Our Home & Pets
Our town is nestled between two lakes, which can both be seen from our home! Our school district is one of the top ranked in Michigan and offers a bus stop at our front door. We live in a four-bedroom, ranch-style home in the desired part of town, with Marissa’s parents living right down the road. Our outdoor living space allows ample space for cornhole, golf practice, catch, and fetch! Brad loves to cook and can be found grilling outside for our family and friends. We have two dogs: Cooper, who loves playing fetch, and Frisco, who loves to sunbathe! We live very close to a sports complex that offers a variety of activities throughout the year.
Our Extended Family
Family is a very important part of our lives. Marissa’s paternal extended family is very close and even has a group chat. Marissa’s mom has five siblings and her dad has two, so her extended family is very large. Marissa is the oldest child. She and her sister are only 13 months apart. Her sister attended the University of Michigan, which made for a house divided on game days! The age gap between her brother and her is slightly larger at five years. We plan family trips together as often as possible since we live in different parts of the country. These family trips always include Marissa’s parents, one or both siblings, aunts and uncles, or grandparents!
Brad is the oldest of six. He has a biological brother, a half-brother and half-sister, and a stepbrother and stepsister. His dad officially adopted his stepsister when she was a baby, so he is familiar with how adoption can complete a family. We see his parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews frequently. Brad’s family lives on 20 acres of land, which allows plenty of room to run and play.
What Led Us To Adoption
Early on in our relationship, we began talking about ways to expand our family. We imagined having children we could shower with love and affection, play sports with, and teach family traditions. Prior to our infertility issues, we often discussed adoption as a way of growing our family. As we travel and have new experiences, we find ourselves saying, “We will have to do this again with our children!” We are ready to start our family now through adoption and are very excited to create new family memories!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
