dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Firstly and most importantly, thank you for considering us to love your child. It means the world to us. From the very beginning of our relationship, we have dreamed and talked about becoming parents. Family is very important to us, and we always hoped to build one together, however possible. This decision has felt so deeply right and important to us for a long time, and we do not take it lightly that you also have an incredibly difficult decision to make.
We understand this journey is a deeply personal one, and we want you to know we approach it with immense respect and admiration for you. We are here with open hearts and arms, ready to provide a loving and joyful home for your child. We are ready to answer any questions you have at any time to ensure you feel good about the choice you’re making for both you and your child.
Thank you once again for considering us. We look forward to the possibility of meeting you and starting this incredible journey together.
With so much gratitude,
Liz and Peter
About Us
Our story began at a mutual friend's birthday party, where we hit it off right away. We hesitate to say love at first sight, but it was pretty darn close! Now we’re happily married and living in Colorado with our dogs and cat. Liz is thriving as the regional director for an education company, and Peter navigates the world of tech sales. We live very full lives, whether traveling, working out, enjoying time with friends, or visiting our families and friends across the U.S. We also love to be at home, where you'll often find us on the couch catching up on our favorite shows or playing video games together. You can also find us playing pickleball and taking longer walks with the dogs to the green space in our neighborhood in warmer weather.
Our Home & Pets
We have owned a beautiful home for over 10 years now. It is a perfect size for us with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have a great guest room that is just waiting to be changed into a nursery.
The neighborhood is full of young families around us. Every morning kids walk by our house on the way to the elementary school just a few blocks away that we are excited to have so close. The neighborhood playground always has someone on it.
Our pets are very important to us and to each other. Maple is the sweetest girl (12) and Mando is the chaotic cuddle puppy (3) and loves to play with our cat, V (6mo), too.
Our Extended Family
We are very lucky to be close with both of our families! Liz’s one and only younger brother was our officiant at our wedding, and both of Peter’s sisters walked our dogs down the aisle. We take trips to Disneyland or Disney World with Peter’s family once a year (at least!) to support his sisters running in marathons and to hang out with our very cute nephew. We split our holiday time with both families as well. Also, when we’re with either of our families (traveling or not), we like to play lots of board games and card games.
On Liz’s side, this will be the first grandbaby in the family. We are looking forward to her parents’ support and presence in our lives as they move to Colorado to spend more time with their grandchild.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has been something we’ve known we wanted since we first met. Liz has wanted it since a young age as she was never sure if biological children would be an option for her, and she shared that with Peter as soon as she met him. We have so much love to give as parents and are sure adoption is the best way for us to build a loving family together. Additionally, we are fortunate to have friends nearby who have adopted and have seen their joy as they’ve gone through this process. It has reaffirmed our excitement about becoming adoptive parents!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
