dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you, and for taking the time to get to know a little bit about us. We cannot begin to understand what led you to this life-changing decision for both you and us. We want to be able to ease your concern about the future for your child and express how grateful we would be if you decided to trust us with your choice. We have been married for nearly 13 years and after many years of trying to conceive naturally, then several unsuccessful attempts with fertility treatments, the family we had hoped to have no longer seemed possible. This led us to explore the idea of adoption. Maybe this could be the way we grow our family and offer a child the great life we hope to provide. We both have large families that are so very excited to welcome this new little addition, with whom we would love to share our traditions, holidays, and everything else. Please be assured your child will always know how much you love them and how grateful we are that you gave us the opportunity to grow our family.
About Us
Hi there! We're Lauren and Jose. We have been together for 18 years and married for 13. Jose is the franchise owner of an early childhood learning center. Lauren worked as an office manager in the same center for 15 years, and has recently moved on to be the accounting coordinator for a construction supply company. We have a great love for travel, the outdoors, and we take every opportunity to explore new and old places. We love spending time in our travel trailer, hiking, camping, skiing, and paddleboarding with our dog, Xena. We also very much enjoy cooking and entertaining, hosting family and friends for holidays and get-togethers. Jose is also a musician, playing the drums for over 20 years, and is an avid reader of spy novels. And although he also has a culinary degree, Lauren has become the Top Chef in the house. Her love of experimenting in the kitchen has led her to make some incredible meals.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a beautiful suburb in Colorado that is very family and pet friendly, with many recreational areas, rec centers, walking trails, and open spaces. We love being able to step outside and explore our wonderful community and take our three-year-old boxer/lab, Xena, for long walks on the many trails easily accessible to us. We also enjoy taking our travel trailer to explore our beautiful state and nearby Rocky Mountains, as well as our neighboring states.
Our Extended Family
We both have large extended families that live within 30 minutes of us or even closer. Both of our parents have been married to each other for 54 and 47 years and live close to us, so we are able to have regular family dinners and celebrate special occasions with them. Jose has one sister, a nephew, and niece. Lauren has a brother with two boys and a sister that has two daughters. We each have many cousins and aunts and uncles that we are grateful to spend time with frequently. Jose was born in Puerto Rico, and we are fortunate to be able to visit his extended family there at least once a year, usually during the holidays.
What Led Us To Adoption
We were led to adoption after a long struggle with infertility. We would like to grow our family but have not had any success going about it the traditional route and have started to explore the idea of adopting to help us create the family we have wanted for a long time. We have several friends and family who chose the adoption journey to grow their families, after having similar struggles to ours, and they've shared how happy it made them, and how it was the best decision they ever made. We knew it was the right path for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
