dear expectant mother

We cannot begin to imagine what you may be feeling and what you may be going through at this time, but we can assure you that we have the utmost admiration for you! A decision like this takes so much selflessness, bravery, and strength. Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and learn more about us. Whatever decision you make, it will be the right one and will be respected by us.

Should you choose us, we are ready to welcome your child into a home filled with unconditional love and support. We will also communicate the deepest love you have for your child. We will create a safe space for your child to grow into whoever they are meant to become. We promise to be there every step of the way to provide stability and encouragement. They will have two dogs ready to cuddle with them and give them so many kisses! We look forward to taking family trips, introducing them to our extended family, and spending quality time together.

Once again, we are so grateful to be considered in taking this journey with you and being given such an amazing gift.

Love,
David & Kristina

About Us

We are David and Kristina. Our story begins in high school. Although we weren’t really friends, our high school was small, and we were very much aware of one another. It wasn’t until 2014, when we were celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in downtown Chicago with friends, that we were officially introduced. We’ve been together ever since and will be celebrating eight years of marriage soon. Our favorite times are spent with family and friends. We enjoy being active; taking our dogs, Lenny and Squiggy, for long walks; and our movie nights on the couch cuddling with the dogs. Kristina is an HR liaison for a healthcare insurance organization, and David is a special agent. We truly believe we would not have been able to achieve our career goals without the support of one another.

Our Home & Pets

We’ve lived in the Baltimore, MD, area for about a year now. We live in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in a suburb. We’ve enjoyed exploring areas around us and often travel to DC and Baltimore. We have two dogs, both Italian greyhounds, Lenny and Squiggy. Squiggy was born blind, and due to the pain caused by pressure on his eyes, they were removed; that has not slowed him down at all! We love to spoil Lenny and Squiggy and try to include them in as many activities as we can.

Our Extended Family

We were born and raised in Northwest Indiana. We lived in Louisiana for the past six years before moving to Maryland; we were brought here due to David’s job. The majority of our family and friends still live in the Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana area. Although we live in a different state from our immediate family, we still remain close knit. Both sides of our family visit us often, and we travel back to Northwest Indiana every year for the holidays. Back in Indiana, our parents only live 20 minutes from one another.

We have four nieces and one nephew and make it a priority to spend time with them each time we are in town. One of our favorite moments has become watching them open gifts on Christmas. Both sides of our family love gathering for cookouts. Kristina’s family especially loves getting together during football season to watch Notre Dame.

We have started our own traditions that center around the holidays. During Halloween, we enjoy watching scary movies while carving pumpkins to display. At Christmastime, we enjoy grabbing some hot chocolate and looking at all the lights both around the neighborhood and in the parks.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are not able to have biological children without the assistance of in vitro fertilization, so we pursued IVF in 2021 into 2022. Although IVF was not successful for us, we have always remained hopeful to grow our family. We are ready to expand our love by providing the best homelife possible. We are very grateful to have the opportunity to start the journey of adoption and to welcome a little one into our close-knit family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
