dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We know this is an incredibly difficult decision for you, and we appreciate you taking the time to get to know us. We are not parents yet, but we’ve thought long and hard about what we would want for our child if we were in your shoes. We will love our child unconditionally; we say “our” because no matter what, you will always be their mother. Our child will grow up knowing the sacrifice you have made and how it was the ultimate testament of your love for them. You could be giving us the opportunity to be parents, which is the greatest gift we could ever receive. While this process may not have been what either of us had expected or envisioned, we are committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure we provide the best life for our child.
Our Promise to You:
We promise to honor you and your wishes during this adoption. While we believe open adoption will be the most beneficial for our child, we will support whatever decision you choose. We promise to continue to work hard to be able to provide our child with every opportunity available. We will provide a kind, loving, and patient home where they can grow into the person they were meant to be. We will make sure they are able to see the world and experience different cultures so they may grow up knowing and having compassion. We will help cultivate experiences that help them develop skills and traits that will ensure their success from birth to adulthood to forever.

About Us
We have been together for over eleven years and celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary in 2023. We enjoy spending time outdoors doing activities like camping, hiking, or just hanging out at the local park playing volleyball with friends and family. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, and we love to laugh; our ideal date night would be going to a local comedy show. We are avid sports fans and love watching Nuggets and Broncos games. One of our greatest passions is traveling, and we try to go on several international trips per year. Traveling is something we are eager to share with our future family as we believe it is important for having a deeper understanding and respect for the differences that make people unique.
Our Home & Pets
We have two dogs, Cosmo and Cannoli, who are both rescues and a huge part of our family. Cosmo is a three-legged pit bull who loves every person and dog he has ever met. Our walks are very long because he loves to stop by every neighbor’s house to get pets along the way. Cosmo loves to swim and would spend hours in the local river if he could. Cannoli is a small black Lab who is obsessed with the squirrel in our backyard tree. The only thing Cannoli loves more than squirrels is belly rubs. She will sprawl herself over your lap to get belly rubs any time she pleases. Our home is our happy place, and we spend a lot of time just hanging out.
Our Extended Family
We are incredibly lucky and thankful to have so many supportive friends and family in our lives. There is never a lack of gatherings, parties, or events to attend. Alex’s mom and stepfather live on a large farm where we have celebrated our biggest milestones. It is even where we got married, in an old barn on the property he grew up on. It has a special place in our hearts, and we spend a lot of time there.
Combined, we have 17 cousins and step-cousins all around the country. Family events tend to be loud and full of constant laughs. Tradition runs deep in our family, and we try to spend holidays and birthdays together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always knew we wanted to have a family, but we were too focused on trying to build our financial foundation. Before we knew it, time and the dreaded biological clock were looming. After years of infertility, we finally got pregnant in 2021, which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. After several more years of trying and undergoing IVF treatments, we decided we wanted to pursue adoption. We truly believe family is what you make it; we don’t need to have biological children to create a family for ourselves. We are so excited and hopeful to grow our family through adoption, and being chosen by a birthmother would be the biggest honor we could receive.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
