About Us
Hello! We are Kris and Kim! Kris, a director in social services, is passionate about home improvement and outdoor activities. Kim, with a background in social services, now manages learning/quality operations for a large company. We both share a love for water activities, travel, and family time. Our blended family includes four daughters, ages four and eight (together) and 13 and 16 (from Kris’s previous marriage). As a family, we enjoy both outdoor adventures and quiet family moments. Coming from close-knit families ourselves, we value traditions and celebrations, embracing every holiday and small joys. We spend a lot of time at our lake house enjoying water sports and nature. Together, we create a dynamic, nurturing environment that reflects our diverse interests and values. We're excited to share our love for life, family traditions, and adventures with a child through adoption, continuing to build a home filled with love, laughter, and shared experiences.
Our Home & Pets
We live on a ten-acre rural Missouri property with a four-bedroom, two-story home featuring a family room and playroom. This setting offers a balance of country living and city access, providing a rich environment for family life and outdoor experiences.
Our outdoor space is perfect for play, and we're just 25 minutes from urban amenities. We own a lakeside vacation home and a camper for adventures. Our close-knit community values family traditions and holiday celebrations. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and water sports. As animal lovers, we have three dogs, three cats, and a small farm with chickens and goats. Our free time is spent at the lake, on vacations, reading, and cherishing moments together.
Our Extended Family
Our extended family is a close-knit group spread across several states. Kim has two siblings and two cousins, while Kris has one sibling and two cousins. Despite distances, we maintain strong connections through regular contact, shared traditions, and frequent gatherings.
Family celebrations are central to our relationships. Kim's family, in Missouri, Arkansas, and Mississippi, and Kris's family, in Missouri, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, come together for holidays and special occasions. We celebrate all holidays and personal achievements, often with special dinners. Our annual family fantasy football league keeps us engaged year-round.
We've also cultivated a network of close family friends who are integral to our support system. As we consider adoption, we're excited to create new ‘happiest times’ and share our love with another child, integrating them into our rich tapestry of family traditions and relationships.
What Led Us To Adoption
The prospect of adoption fills us with joy and excitement. From childhood, we've dreamed of sharing our love through adoption, envisioning a diverse family built on love rather than biology. Inspired by family members and friends who have adopted, including Kim’s brother, cousin, and close friend, we've seen how adoption enriches family life. We’re eager to provide a loving, stable home where a child can thrive, celebrate their achievements, and support them through challenges. We look forward to honoring our future child's heritage and embracing diversity. This journey has strengthened our commitment to each other and deepened our reflection on the family life we want to create, reinforcing our belief that families are formed through love and care.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
