dear expectant mother
Thank you for your courage in exploring this journey of adoption. Even if you don't choose adoption for you and your baby, please know your strength and faith in even considering this process is beyond admirable. We feel it is a very special privilege and calling to become adoptive parents, and we are looking forward to this journey that has been placed in our hearts as a deep calling.
We understand there will be challenges to overcome for ourselves, our future baby, and, most of all, the courageous mother who is making this tough decision we will never be able to understand. We are moved to tears every time we think of this gift that is coming to us and the sacrifices being made so we can have a family of our own.
We have read countless stories from birthmothers, and in each story, we feel more and more called to be parents to an adopted child. We will fully honor your decision, whatever you choose. Our promise to you is to give this child all the unconditional love, the support, and the life you hoped for your baby. You would be giving us a chance to live out a dream only made possible by your selfless sacrifice and deep love for your baby.
We want to again thank you for reading our profile and for considering helping us make our dream a reality in becoming parents and having a family.
About Us
We would consider ourselves semi-countercultural. We are both self-employed and enjoy the freedom that brings to our lives and schedule. After adopting, Angie is looking forward to being promoted to full-time stay-at-home mom and homemaker and “retiring” from her two part-time jobs of doing hair and teaching yoga. Kevin has worked really hard to create an extremely flexible schedule that provides a passive income that can support the family lifestyle of our dreams. (That is a perk of being an older parent.)
We are both passionate about traveling and enjoying experiences rather than things. Our nieces and nephews receive “sleepover vouchers” for Christmas instead of gifts. We both enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, which includes eating whole foods, exercising four to six times a week, and yoga. We have had some fun adventures with a yoga group called Jedi Fight Club in Colorado, Portugal, and Hawaii. We have been blessed with the opportunity to own part of a regenerative farm in Hawaii, where Angie’s uncle lives.
Our Home & Pets
We live in an area that is full of eclectic homes and family-owned businesses. Over the last handful of years, we have renovated our house into our dream mid-century modern-style home. We love our neighbors, especially Kevin’s childhood friend and his family, who live across the street. Our community is wonderful. There are two parks on either side of us and friends with chickens, so we always have fresh eggs! Our city is a wonderful place to raise a family as our quality of life is really high here. We have award-winning public schools as well as a wonderful Waldorf-style school down the street that we would love to send our child to.
Our Extended Family
We are lucky enough to have a great community of friends both here in Kansas City and around the globe. We both grew up around our metro area and have stayed close with our childhood friends. We actually live across the street from Kevin’s childhood best friend and his family. Kevin’s company was started with one of closest friends and he has the opportunity to employ his sister there also. Angie has lived in several places across the country and has many friends that she stays in touch with. She enjoys spending time with her high school besties who were once pretty wild teenagers and now all have a strong faith in God.
Most of Kevin’s family is here in the KC area, except his Father & Step-Mother live in Texas. Kevin’s sister, Kelly and her husband Luke have 5 children 2 of which have been adopted and have special needs. Angie’s father lives in Oklahoma. She has recently lost her brother and mother in the past few years. Her Grandmother (Mee-Maw) lives in a small town about 45 minutes outside of KC.
Our Adoption Story
We met later in life and instantly knew this was the person we were searching for all along. After being together for just a few months, Kevin surprisingly proposed (both of us were surprised, including Kevin), and here we are now going on seven years.
We drove back to Buena Vista just a couple weeks after the proposal and married ourselves. It was the most magical day we could have asked for. Since then, we have taken many adventures around the country and globe. We love traveling together and can’t wait to have more adventures with a baby in hand.
Angie frequently says that Kevin was worth the wait, and he couldn't agree more about her. We have a strong spiritual bond, and that was something we both were missing in previous relationships. This close spiritual relationship really has proven to unite us as a couple and has been a significant force in challenging times.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
