dear expectant mother

We would like to say thank you for taking the time to read our story and consider us as potential parents for your precious baby. We know this is one of the most difficult, complex, and deeply emotional decisions you will ever make, and our hearts are with you as you navigate this journey.

There are no words that can truly capture how much gratitude we feel for you right now. The love you already have for your baby is evident in the care and thoughtfulness you’re putting into each step of contemplating this decision, and it takes an extraordinary amount of strength to think about what’s best for your child.

If we are fortunate to be part of your baby’s life, we will cherish every moment. Your baby will be loved beyond measure and surrounded by warmth, laughter, and opportunity. We will be there to guide them, to nurture their dreams, and to show them every day how valued they are.

Please know that no matter what you choose, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish you peace and comfort as you make this decision, and we are forever grateful for your consideration.

About Us

We’re Kenny and Robert, a couple who’s been together for eight wonderful years, building a life full of love, laughter, and great memories in Maryland. Though we come from different backgrounds—Kenny, an African American content creator from Maryland, and Robert, a Native American attorney from Oklahoma—our personalities balance each other perfectly. Kenny brings creativity and a laid-back vibe to our home. As a content creator, he loves connecting with his community, and he’s also passionate about cooking and baking. Robert adds structure and focus. As an attorney, he’s detail-oriented and thoughtful, with a love for staying active and tending to his garden. Together, we share a deep commitment to volunteering and making a positive impact on our community. We’re excited about the opportunity to grow our family through adoption, and we’re confident that our shared values of love, compassion, and support will provide a warm, nurturing home for a child.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a beautiful four-bedroom Cape Cod home located in the outskirts of DC. Our house is nestled in an established neighborhood with tree-lined streets, well-kept single-family homes, and an inclusive atmosphere. The community is friendly and diverse, with residents of all ages and backgrounds. It’s common to see families out for walks and kids riding bikes, creating a tight-knit welcoming feel. Our neighborhood is conveniently located just blocks from a historical downtown area that provides restaurants, shops, and entertainment options, including theaters, art galleries, and live music venues. Our community also values green space and sustainability, with plenty of parks, walking trails, and gardens. We have a goldendoodle named Winston; he’s great with kids and brings endless joy and laughter to our home.

Our Extended Family

Our family is one of the most important parts of our lives, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have such a supportive and loving group of people to share our journey with. Kenny has an older brother with two young children, and they’ve given us the joy of being uncles. They’re thrilled about the possibility of welcoming a new cousin into the family. Robert has a younger sister who is kind, nurturing, and a constant source of support.

In addition to our siblings, our cousins are like built-in best friends. We’ve grown up together, creating a close-knit network of love and support that we all cherish. Both of our parents are overjoyed at the thought of us adopting. Their excitement and support mean the world to us. As loving, generous parents and grandparents, they can’t wait to meet your baby. They’re already imagining all the memories we’ll create together, whether it’s family gatherings, holiday traditions, or just quiet moments spent with their new grandchild.

What Led Us To Adoption

From the moment we began thinking about building a family, adoption felt like a natural and beautiful path for us. After much reflection, we realized how important it is to provide a child with a nurturing environment where they can grow, feel safe, and truly be themselves. We’ve been inspired by friends and family who have gone through their own adoption journeys as we’ve seen the joy and love it has brought into their lives. We can’t wait to welcome a child into our home, nurture them, watch them grow, and share our lives together. Adoption isn’t just about us becoming parents; it’s about giving a child the chance at a bright, happy future.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
