dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening. We don’t know your name yet or when you will read this. We don’t know where you are, what you look like, or any of your passions and interests. There’s not much we know about you yet, and we would like to learn all of these things. However, there are a few things we know, and they are important ones: We know you are caring, brave, and strong.
We can say these things with confidence, and we are happy to explain why. Only someone who cares about a child as you do would consider adoption, because it is a difficult and selfless thing to pursue. Your care for this child should be obvious to anyone. Your bravery and strength are evidenced by the fact that this is a difficult decision you have undertaken to pursue. Despite that, you have the courage to say this would be the best option for your child, and for that, we can only express our admiration and gratitude.
While we don’t know much about you yet, we are excited to meet such a person and know that the baby or babies you carry must be equally incredible. Whomever you decide to partner with, we hope you accept our gratitude for considering adoption and choosing to bless another family with the wonderful life you are growing.
Sincerely,
Stephanie & Keegan
About Us
Working in the kitchen together…check. Educating young people…that’s us. Small crafts and hobby projects…we are all over it. Actually, we’re kind of all over the place in general—there’s a lot we like to explore together! We are Stephanie and Keegan, a pair of teachers who enjoy crafting, reading, cooking (especially baking!), gardening, canning, dehydrating, and spending time with animals. Stephanie teaches elementary and Keegan high school. Keegan paints small models and cross stitches, while Stephanie makes personalized decorations and knits. We love time in the kitchen together, making all sorts of treats, both savory and sweet. We are lovers of learning and teaching, and while we have different age groups that we work with in schools, we share a deep love for children of all ages. We also share two central life goals: raising several children together and establishing a small farm for our family to live and grow on together.
Our Home & Pets
Recently Keegan overheard our region referred to as “the upper left.” We live in the lovely state of Washington, home to snowy mountains, dry deserts, rolling grasslands, coastal waters, and verdant forests. Set in this backdrop, our two-story home has a large fenced yard and is filled with the sights and sounds of life. During the summer, our large garden is buzzing with the sounds of pollinators, while six chickens cluck away in their mobile coop. The inside of the house is usually a little quieter; the two small dogs (miniature schnauzers) are busy asking for attention, and the four cats tend to sleep a lot, as cats do. We also dabble in breeding and selling rabbits.
Our Extended Family
We are both the oldest of four siblings in our families, and that is a part of why we both want several children. Some of our family lives in various places around the country. There are a few extended family members in Arizona. Stephanie has two siblings and their families in Florida and Texas, with three young cousins between them. However, most of our people live in Washington.
None of Keegan’s siblings are married or have children yet. Our children will be the first nieces/nephews/grandchildren on that side of the family, and our parents are very much looking forward to seeing little ones in the family again. While we do not live near our folks, we talk with them constantly. We enjoy playing Wordle every day with Mom and play more board and card games whenever we see them in person. Family time and cooking together for the holidays are things we look forward to every chance we get.
What Led Us To Adoption
We started our journey toward creating a family together later in life simply because we met later than many couples tend to do. We realized that while we both desire several children in our lives, having multiple children biologically might not be feasible. Early on in our relationship, we began talking about the possibility of welcoming children into our family through the miracles of both childbirth and adoption. While we are overjoyed to share that we are expecting our first child this spring, we are even more thrilled at the possibility of having multiple children of the same age who can grow up side by side. While this is our first adoption journey, it is one we intend to make again, giving multiple children a loving and supportive home through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
