dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to consider us as a potential family for your baby. We cannot begin to imagine what you are going through, and we admire the strength that it takes to consider this decision; it cannot be an easy one. We acknowledge that only you will know what is best for your baby, and all we can do is hope you see something in us that lines up with how you envision your child’s future.
It is most important to us that you feel safe and are taken care of physically, mentally, and emotionally throughout and after your pregnancy. If chosen, we hope we can be there for you to help provide you that support if you feel comfortable leaning on us. Please know that if your baby becomes part of our family, rest assured that he or she will be forever loved, safe, and given the utmost feeling of belonging. They will also understand how this journey would not be possible without you.
We are very excited to begin this process with you if you think we are a good fit. Your child will always be reminded that you are a blessing to both them and us. Thank you again for your consideration. We hope the stars align.
Sincerely,
Miguel and Karen
About Us
We met in 2016 during college and have been inseparable ever since. Miguel admired how thoughtful, hardworking, and loving Karen was, and Karen fell for Miguel's adventurous personality, his humor, and how safe he made her feel. Growing together throughout the years has made it difficult to imagine what life was like before we had each other. Miguel relentlessly supported Karen's journey to becoming a doctor. He also supported her diverse experiences prior to medical school, such as being a teacher, real estate agent, choreographer, and cheerleading coach. Karen pushed Miguel in his career from his start as an intern to leading a team of technology support staff. Miguel enjoys snowboarding, traveling, playing video games, and trying new foods. Karen loves spending time with friends and family, checking out new restaurants, and attending sporting events. Family will always be a core value to us, and we cannot wait to welcome our newest snowboarder or cheerleader!
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a cozy place to relax, and we frequently welcome friends and family for get-togethers. We also have two dogs who share our home, Sofia and Ginger! Sof is a laid-back sharp eagle who is seven years old, while Ging is an energetic cockapoo who is two years old. Our home is located in a diverse New Jersey suburb where the majority of residents are families with children. Karen actually used to be a teacher in our town and, when looking for our home, knew our future children would receive an outstanding education with friends from different backgrounds. Our community has many recreational sports, parks, restaurants, zoos, kids activities, and musical opportunities for our future kids to enjoy.
Our Extended Family
Karen comes from a very big family. Although they have laid roots across multiple states and countries, they are constantly in touch and visiting each other. Karen’s parents, sister, brother-in-law, brother, and soon-to-be sister-in-law all live locally. We spend all major holidays, birthdays, and many weekends together along with one funny nephew and two beautiful nieces. Additionally, Karen has 12 cousins, 12 aunts, and six uncles across Trinidad, Guyana, Canada, Georgia, New York, and Texas. As weddings, major birthdays, and vacations come up, we link up and make memories together!
Miguel’s mother lives locally, and they enjoy their trips to Florida to visit his uncle. We look forward to visiting Miguel’s father, grandfather, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Puerto Rico. They always show us a great time when we are together at the beaches or during excursions. Miguel has two sisters, two brothers-in-law, one bold niece, and one charming nephew who live in NJ. We enjoy playing UNO after our family dinners.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always been something we considered independently before we met each other. Karen’s community service with children throughout the years and Miguel’s upbringing paired with his experiences traveling abroad always left us wanting to provide such an opportunity to a child one day. After struggling with infertility, it did not take us long to revisit our desire to adopt and know that adoption was the way to grow our family. After educating ourselves on the adoption process, understanding how adoption played a role in the lives of children and adults among our friends, and receiving unwavering support from our family, we feel confident in embarking on this journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
