dear expectant mother

It’s hard to put into words how truly grateful we are for you! To make it this far in the adoption process has been a blessing, and to be picked by you would be an even bigger blessing. We can’t begin to imagine how hard this must be for you, but we admire how strong you are. This is such a selfless and life-changing decision you are considering, and we could never say thank you enough! Our hope is to make you and your baby feel loved and supported during this journey, no matter what option you choose!

If we are honored to be picked by you, please know your child will know nothing but unconditional love. We have a safe, warm, and loving environment that is ready to welcome your child as our own. Your baby will be surrounded by grandparents, aunts and uncles, and several cousins, who are all eager to welcome a new baby into the family! Your baby will always know where they came from, how strong and amazing you are, and that you love them very much. We have always dreamed of giving our daughter a sibling and are grateful we can possibly make this happen by your incredible (albeit difficult) decision.

About Us

We’re Matt and Jess! We met the old-fashioned way—online—in 2018. We got engaged in 2019 and have been married for five years. We built our forever home and moved in May of 2020. Matt is a product manager, and Jess is a part-time dental hygienist (although Jess does plan on becoming a stay-at-home mom for the new little one). We are a fun-loving, warm couple who genuinely enjoy each other's company. We enjoy taking in our local professional sports and spending time with our three-year-old daughter and our one-year-old dog, Lady. Matt enjoys riding his bicycle outside when the weather cooperates, and Jess enjoys cooking. We eat dinner together as a family because that is important to us. On the weekends, we go to church, grocery shop, and enjoy family time, whether it’s just us or our respective families.

Our Home & Pets

We live in the suburbs in Ohio surrounded by many parks. We are 15 minutes away from a big downtown area where we enjoy taking in a baseball game when the weather is nice! We live in an area with great schools and world-class healthcare. Our dog, Lady, enjoys her daily walks, and we enjoy spending the warmer days out back on our deck enjoying the sun (or the fall colors) and watching Emilia play on the swingset.

Our Extended Family

Jess comes from an average-sized family. She has an older sister who has two kids and are great cousins to our daughter and super excited to welcome a new baby to the family! Her parents are around and are very involved in our lives. Her dad, being adopted himself, is so excited to welcome a new little one this way! We take a yearly beach vacation to North Carolina.

Matthew is the youngest of three children, with an older brother and sister. His mom was the youngest of seven, so he has a ton of extended family. Additionally, his brother has two children and his sister has seven (ranging from age four to 19). He has a niece and nephew who were adopted, so adoption has been an important part of his life; he couldn’t imagine life without them. As a family, sports were always a big part of their days, and music was also big as they all were in band or orchestra. After every concert, they would go out for donuts! Everyone lives close, so we get to see each other often!

What Led Us To Adoption

Our daughter was born extremely premature at 23 weeks. We never intended on her being an only child. She’s to the point now where she is thriving, and we talked about expanding our family. Adoption seemed like a no-brainer to us because Jess’s dad and Matt’s oldest niece and nephew were adopted. We are forever grateful for their birthmothers. We have a lot of love left to give, and we know our daughter will be a great big sister!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
