We can only imagine the depth of love, strength, and courage it takes to make this decision for your child. We want to begin by acknowledging your bravery and expressing our deep gratitude for considering adoption. We know this is not an easy path, and we respect the love that guides your choices as you seek the best future for your baby.

As you read this, we hope you feel the warmth and security of the home and family we have built. We have always dreamed of becoming parents, and adoption is not just a way to grow our family—it is a profound calling that fills our hearts with hope. We are eager to provide a child with unconditional love, a safe and happy home, and a future full of opportunities. Our extended family is excited to welcome a little one, and we are surrounded by a strong, supportive community ready to embrace this child with open arms.

We are committed to honoring your child’s story, embracing their cultural identity, and ensuring they always know they are loved—not just by us but by you as well. No matter where this journey leads, please know we hold you in our hearts with respect and gratitude.

About Us

We are Richard and Jeff, a devoted couple with fulfilling careers, creative passions, and a love for meaningful experiences. Richard is a graduate school librarian and professor, and Jeff works as an interfaith chaplain at a large research hospital, offering care and support to the sick and frail. Together, we’ve traveled to twenty U.S. states and incredible destinations like Italy, France, Ireland, England, Scotland, Japan, and Mexico. Whether home or abroad, we love savoring new foods, exploring vibrant cultures, discovering inspirational art, and making memories together. Our shared love for music and singing—both classical and pop—adds joy to our lives. Richard has a passion for learning languages and Jeff has a love for storytelling. Together, we enjoy cooking and entertaining. Additionally, both of us are active members of our church communities. We can’t wait to share our love for art, learning, travel, and faith as we welcome a child into our family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a spacious four-bedroom, three-bath home with a walkout basement and a large backyard, perfect for playing or relaxing. Our neighborhood is quiet, family friendly, and filled with young families. We’re on a first-name basis with everyone on our block. We’re just two blocks from an excellent elementary school. Our school district is one of the top ten in our state and offers a wide range of offerings. We share our home with our twin tuxedo cats, Harvey and Hadley. Harvey is full of energy and spunk, while Hadley is a quiet, sweet companion, making our home even more lively and loving.

Our Extended Family

Our extended family is close knit and incredibly supportive. Richard has three sisters and Jeff one brother, along with a number of cousins. Family gatherings are filled with warmth, laughter, and shared meals featuring Jeff’s family gumbo, Richard’s Italian recipes, and Jeff’s sister-in-law’s dishes from Paraguay, creating a rich blend of traditions and flavors. One of Jeff’s strongest childhood memories is taking summer road trips with his family to visit extended relatives and explore historical sites. These traditions instilled in him a deep appreciation for family connection and new experiences, something we hope to share with our child.

Richard’s parents are moving to our city, ensuring that our child will grow up surrounded by loving grandparents. Jeff’s father already lives nearby and is an active, devoted grandfather to Jeff’s nieces. We are fortunate that our extended family fully supports our adoption journey. Having seen firsthand the joy adoption has brought to our family through our niece, we are excited to create a loving home where our child will be surrounded by encouragement, traditions, and a strong sense of belonging.

What Led Us To Adoption

The chance to adopt fills us with immense joy and anticipation. We have always known our journey to parenthood would be different, and adoption offers us the chance to build the loving family we’ve dreamed of. Our decision to adopt is rooted in a deep belief that love is life’s greatest treasure. We want to share our love and lives with a family. Jeff’s passion for adoption began in high school when working with orphaned children in Romania, while Richard has always longed to share his love with a child. We are inspired by Jeff’s brother, who adopted his youngest daughter and has found profound joy in parenthood. We are ready to provide a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for our future child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
