dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
There will never be words to fully express the gratitude and love we have for you even though we have never met. No matter where you are in this journey, we admire your strength for choosing life and considering adoption.
If no one has told you yet, you are already a good mother. Worrying about the growing life inside you makes you a good mother. The time and energy spent wondering what your child’s future will look like makes you a good mother. Making tough decisions makes you a good mother. Whether you choose to parent or move forward with an adoption plan, we want you to know that you are a good mother.
If you decide to make an adoption plan, we will respect you and whatever level of openness you would want to have with your child. We will provide a safe, loving, and supportive home. Your child will be loved unconditionally by so many more than just the two of us—all of our family and friends too. Thank you for considering us as your child’s adoptive family.
About Us
Hello! We are Jessica and Jasmine, also known as J&J. We are a couple of quirky, adventure-loving old souls. We met online, and immediately our connection was one out of the pages of a storybook. We have so much in common, and we compliment each other's strengths and weaknesses so well. Together we enjoy road trips, collecting pressed coins, visiting national parks, antiquing, bonfires, all things Disney, and DIY home projects. We find a lot of joy in woodworking and building things ourselves for our home and just for fun. We got married at a wildlife preserve between two pressed penny machines. Like the fairytale of our story together, we had our honeymoon at Disneyland. We have already planned to take our future child there someday.
Our Home & Pets
We live in Washington State in a little bitty town that sees all the seasons every year. We own a single-story, historic home that we have put a lot of love into and call home with our three fur kiddos: an Australian cattle dog named Akelah and our two younger cats, Petrie and Duckie. All the schools are only a few streets over, and all the neighborhood kids walk to school together. We have fantastic neighbors we have become close friends with who are just like family.
Our Extended Family
East Coast meets West Coast. Since our families root from opposite sides of the country, and everywhere in between, we have a huge support system both near and far.
Jasmine grew up in the Northeast. We have an annual trip to New Hampshire in early fall packed full of boating and swimming on the lake, apple picking, leaf peeping, cornhole games, and bonfires. Most of Jessica’s family lives within an hour drive or closer to us. One of their favorite holiday traditions that’s been passed down is making Texas tacos on Christmas Eve.
Together we have started our own tradition of taking a road trip to a new national park every year, collecting as many pressed pennies as we can along the way. Our holiday traditions are to make holiday cards and wrap Christmas presents while watching The Grinch and make homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Christmas morning.
What Led Us To Adoption
Our decision to adopt came after a long rollercoaster journey of trying to conceive with no success. Throughout our time trying to conceive, we accumulated all the necessary things for the “little’s room,” what we call our nursery. It is Disney themed and neutral colored because we are so excited no matter what the gender. We are just ready to be moms and watch our child grow as we experience this chapter of life as parents. Adoption was just the natural next step for us to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
