dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to get to know us. Although we've never met, we already know that you are incredibly strong and courageous, as you work to make the best decision possible for your child. We are deeply humbled and honored that you are considering us as part of your journey, and we admire the immense love you are showing for your baby.
We promise to honor your child's story and always keep you a part of their life, respecting whatever level of involvement you wish to have moving forward. Your child will grow up in a home filled with unconditional love, laughter, support, and stability. We will teach them to work hard, be kind, love deeply, and face challenges with resilience. They will never go a single day without hearing, "I love you."
Whatever path you choose, please know that you and your family are in our daily thoughts and prayers. We wish you peace and comfort as you navigate this journey, and hope you find clarity in making the decision that feels right for you and your child.
With Love,
Marcus and Hillary
About Us
We're Marcus and Hillary from South Carolina. We met through mutual friends in 2016, and were married in 2020. We bonded over our shared love of adventurous travels and the outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Marcus is an environmental permitting manager, and Hillary is a stay-at-home mom to our 3-year-old son, Henry. Hillary is a former elementary school teacher, and loves to work on creative projects, especially sewing and baking. Marcus is the outdoorsman of the family—he knows about edible plants and how to identify venomous creatures, so hiking with him is always an adventure. In the summers we take family trips to new locations, as one of our goals is to visit all the state and national parks together. We also enjoy spending time on our boat—whether it be fishing, tubing, or just cruising around, we always have an amazing time.
Our Home & Pets
We absolutely love our home, nestled in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. It's less than a mile from one of the city's top-ranked K-8 schools. Our home is surrounded by wonderful parks and outdoor spaces, including a nearby State Park with walking paths, a small zoo, and a fishing pier. One of our favorite features of our home is the large, screened-in porch, where we spend countless evenings enjoying meals and watching football. We also have a small garden where we love to grow fruits and veggies. We feel blessed to live in such a wonderful area with so much to offer, and we know it is a great place to raise a child.
Our Extended Family
Hillary's family lives in the same town, and some of her siblings, grandparents, aunts, and uncles are only a short walk from our home. Marcus' extended family lives a few hours away, and we make regular trips each year to visit them. We frequently gather for birthdays, anniversaries, cookouts, or pool parties, making family a central part of our lives. One of our favorite traditions is an oyster roast and cookie decorating every Christmas Eve. Hillary's parents also love hosting sleepovers for the grandkids, where they are spoiled and have the best time!
In addition to our amazing family, we are grateful for a wonderful group of friends whom we love sharing life with. Our friends have young children, and we get together for birthday parties, football games, or take the kids on playdates to the waterpark or children's museum. The beach is a short drive away and is one of our favorite places to go with friends in the summer. We are fortunate to have wonderful friends and family who are supportive and live close by.
What Led Us To Adoption
Both of us come from large, loving families where support was always plentiful, and we've always dreamed of creating a big family ourselves. After the birth of our son, we discovered we couldn't have more biological children. Through conversations with family members who have adopted, we realized adoption was the journey we were meant to take. Witnessing the joy it brought to their lives inspired us to embrace this miracle to expand our family. Our hearts are full of love, and we are eager to share that love with a precious child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
