dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot imagine the strength it must take for you to consider an adoption plan for your child. There are no words that can express how much we admire you for your sacrifice and selfless love for your beautiful baby. The choice you have ahead of you is likely one of the toughest you will ever make, and we thank you and honor you for it and for the love you have for your baby.
There is an abundance of love waiting for your child should you choose us. Family is our priority, and we have spent the past few years envisioning and planning for a life for our future children. From butterfly hunting at the river around the corner and fireside music in the backyard to game nights with family and playing with our food while baking in the kitchen, we know kids grow and learn best when they are active and engaged in play with the world around them. We can’t wait to create memories together going on adventures while hiking and camping, celebrating Halloween in the summer just because it’s fun, and spending summer nights at the drive-in movie theater with friends and family.
Whatever you decide, we know you have your baby’s best interest at heart, and we are grateful you have taken the time to read our profile and consider us to parent your child.
About Us
We are a fun, goofy couple who love to go on adventures, especially camping and hiking when the weather is nice, and love all types of games. We even have monthly game nights with family! Brooke is a middle school teacher who is also in charge of the drama program. She loves spending time with the students and watching them grow while creating a show together. Gregg is a pediatric occupational therapist assistant and loves helping his kiddos grow through games and playtime. When we aren’t working, we can usually be found baking or cooking a delicious meal. Our favorite dessert to make is cake pops— we even have our own home bakery specializing in them. On Sundays, we serve at church: Gregg with the special needs ministry as a one-on-one aid and Brooke in the hospitality ministry greeting at the door and helping prepare for the next service.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a beautiful middle Tennessee town perfectly blending rural country living and modern suburban conveniences. There are many activities (hiking, camping, river access, historic battlefields, and concerts) all within 15-30 minutes of us. Our neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbors we have met are all friendly and eager to help whenever needed. Our home is perfectly sized– not too big, not too small. It’s cozy, with a big, fenced-in backyard our dogs love to explore. Christmas, our ten year old chocolate lab, loves relaxing with us on the couch and cuddling with her toys. Santa Claus, our one year old Great Pyrenees, is up for playing in the yard or snuggling with you! They are both very friendly with people and other animals.
Our Extended Family
Brooke’s family includes her parents, two sisters, and many extended family. Her older sister is married with a two-year-old son and another baby due soon. We have a tight bond and often do “storytime” with our nephew. Brooke also has a great relationship with her younger sister, who loves to prank Brooke’s parents with her. We have a close relationship with Brooke’s parents, who are just as goofy as we are. They play in a band, which Brooke participates in as a singer and backstage.
Gregg’s family is just as silly. Gregg’s dad’s jokes are legendarily cheesy, and his mom is a huge animal lover. We love going to baseball games together. His sister is married and enjoys adventuring and playing games like us. We enjoy meeting up to play board games and talk about Disney.
Despite our families living in California, we spend lots of time on FaceTime and Zoom. Every few months we are either traveling back to see family or hosting visiting family. Our close family friends (lovingly called our “Tennessee parents”) live just 30 minutes away, and we often spend time together laughing and hanging out with their kids and three grandkids.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always known we would want to adopt when it came time to grow our family. Both our moms were adopted, and Brooke’s aunt, whom she is very close to, is also adopted. Because of this, we spoke about adoption even while we dated and both looked forward to growing our family in this way. While we have experienced our own personal losses as a couple in the process of trying to expand our family, we are so incredibly excited to take this long-awaited step forward that we have been planning on since before we were married.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
