dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot imagine the challenges you’ve had to face or the decisions you’ve had to make that have brought you to our profile. This must be the most difficult decision in the world.
The only consolation we can offer is to let you know what type of parents we will be if you choose us. We will be kind, nurturing, and supportive. We have so much to offer and feel we have just been waiting for the opportunity to do so (just ask our spoiled dog, Mabel). We will be thoughtful and educational, and above all else, we will be loving.
Words do not do justice to what we feel as we are writing this letter and, at the same time, likely do not capture the depth of emotion you have felt through this process. Please know, from us to you, we sincerely want to give all we can to your child. We promise to care for them and provide them with a stable, comfortable, and loving home. We promise to be there for them when they need us and to be their protector, role model, or shoulder to cry on. We promise, above all else, to be the best parents we can be.
Sincerely,
Evan and Rachel

About Us
We are a very active and friendly couple. We love spending time with family and friends. Visiting our family is always a big part of our weekend plans. Evan works in healthcare administration as an administrative manager. Rachel works in finance as a financial analyst. We are a very DIY couple; we like to refurbish and repurpose antique furniture. We enjoy doing projects around the house as well as a wide variety of creative crafts. We love spending time outside doing a wide assortment of activities, including gardening, playing yard games, and playing with our dog, Mabel. We enjoy cooking healthy meals using all of our freshly grown produce from our own garden; we even pickle or can a lot of our produce. We also like to make fresh jam. We enjoy living a healthy and active lifestyle, with no such thing as too much time spent outside.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is located on 14 wooded acres on a quiet dirt road. We have chickens and ducks as well as a large garden. We have nearby access to many wonderful restaurants, and are sandwiched between two highly rated school districts. There are many antique shops in our area also. Our home is in a part of the state with many parks and beaches. We have a dog named Mabel. She is a weimaraner who just turned three years old. She is energetic but well behaved.
Our Extended Family
Rachel has an older brother, an older sister, and a younger sister. All are married with children. We have one niece and three nephews on her side of the family, ranging from four years to one month old. Rachel’s dad is the oldest of seven, and on his side of the family, there are 21 first cousins and even more second cousins. Rachel's mom has one brother, who has three children. Both of Evan’s parents are one of five. There are a total of 19 first cousins on Evan's side of the family.
Of all of the aunts and uncles across both of our families, everybody lives fairly close (within an hour), so it is very common for there to be large parties and family gatherings no matter the time of year. We are both very close with our godparents, and Rachel has three godsons of her own.
We have frequent game nights with both sides of our family, which can end up being very competitive and a lot of fun. During the summer, we spend time out on the boat or at a cabin on the lake. We often like to have taste tests with our family, where we choose a certain kind of food, everybody brings something, and we all vote on our favorite.
What Led Us To Adoption
We haven’t adopted before and do not have any children and can’t wait to be parents! Rachel is a childhood cancer survivor who suffers from female infertility and ironically, during our IVF journey we learned Evan suffers from male infertility. We have always dreamed of having a family but are unable to have biological children. We have a cousin on Evan’s side of the family who was adopted for a similar reason. She is now a physician and has three children of her own. They have a very positive view of adoption. As we progressed through our infertility journey, it became very clear that adoption was the answer. We have so much to offer and cannot wait for our chance to do so.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
