dear expectant mother
We cannot imagine what it is like to be in your shoes as you face this tough decision, but we are so appreciative that you would even consider us. Your courage in looking at adoption is amazing! While being an incredibly difficult decision, it is a true act of selflessness.
If chosen, we would provide a loving and supportive home with faith, laughter, and fun. We look forward to the chance to walk with your baby as they grow into the person God made them to be. Their childhood would be filled with many camping trips, various vacations, family activities, and time together. We will walk with them through each stage of life, giving them the love they need to thrive. We will strive to keep your baby safe and protected through the ups and downs of life.
We know this may not be the decision you want to make, but our hope is to be the family for your baby. We very much appreciate your consideration as you look at your baby’s future. We admire how brave you are to be walking this road and hope to be able to walk it with you.
About Us
We are Dave and Erin from a small town in Oregon. Dave is a pastor who oversees a small church camp 30 minutes from town. He is a fun, go-with-the-flow sort of guy who loves to talk to people. Erin is a medical coder who works mostly from home. She is an organized planner who is more introverted and enjoys being home. We have known each other a long time and were just friends until we started dating in 2012. We have been married since 2013, already almost 12 years! Some of our favorite things to do together are going to Disneyland, camping in our trailer, making trips to the beach, and riding bikes. We also enjoy movies, jigsaw puzzles, and board games.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a small farming town that is known for its outdoor recreation. There are lakes and hiking trails within driving distance, and we enjoy the county fair every year when it comes. We live in a fairly quiet neighborhood with several parks close by. Our kids attend a local private school that we all absolutely love, where they are receiving a wonderful education. We have two rescue dogs, Luna (border collie mix) and Wallace (Lab mix), a cat named Zeke, and ten chickens.
Our Extended Family
Both of our families are involved. Dave’s mom and Erin’s parents both live within ten minutes’ driving distance of us and are very much a part of everyday life. We enjoy family dinners, camping, vacations, and holidays together. One of our favorite traditions is eating Swedish pancakes and potato sausage on holiday mornings while watching any parades that may be on.
Between the two of us, we have four brothers (and one who passed away from pancreatic cancer a couple years ago), five sisters-in-law, and thirteen nieces and nephews ages two to 18. While none of them live in town with us, we still quite enjoy connecting with them when we have the opportunity, whether that is a quick dinner or a weekend stay.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have talked about adoption since we were engaged, hoping to one day be given the opportunity to adopt. After having three children, we recently began discussing it as our youngest is old enough that the age difference would make this a perfect time to bring another little one home. We are excited at the possibility of being able to love another little addition to our family! We have many friends who have adopted over the years, and they are a great resource and support as we start this journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
