dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
First, we want to express our deep admiration for the strength and love you are showing as you navigate such an important decision. We know this is a challenging time, and we want you to know we hold you in our hearts with respect and compassion.
We have been dreaming of growing our family through adoption for a long time. Our lives are filled with love, laughter, and the kind of support we can’t wait to share with a child. We believe in creating a home where a child feels cherished, encouraged to grow, and celebrated for who they are. Our family is built on trust, open communication, and kindness, and we’re committed to providing a nurturing environment where your child will always feel safe and loved. More than anything, we want your child to know they are loved unconditionally, both by you and by us.
We can’t imagine what you must be feeling, but we promise to honor your strength and the gift you are considering giving. Should you choose us, we are committed to being open and honest with your child about their adoption journey, ensuring they know their story and the immense love that brought them to us. Thank you for considering us to be a part of this incredibly meaningful decision. No matter what, we wish you peace and comfort as you move forward.
With warmest thoughts and gratitude,
Erica and Stephanie
About Us
We’re Erica and Stephanie, and we’re excited for our journey toward adoption. We can’t wait to welcome a child into our lives and create unforgettable memories together. We have been together for 15 years and married for nine. We are a loving, adventurous, driven, and supportive couple. We met in Chicago, where our love began, and have continued our adventures since moving to Colorado two years ago. We are a very active couple and enjoy hiking, biking, paddle boarding, skiing, and listening to all types of music together. We have always supported one another in pursuing our goals, working toward achieving our dreams, and enjoying every bit of life along the way. Erica works as a mental health provider, while Stephanie is currently a family medicine provider. We are beyond excited to continue to expand our family and to mother in the most loving and supportive way.
Our Home & Pets
We made the move to Colorado in 2022 for a new adventure. Our home is a three-bedroom, three-bath house with a finished basement and yard. This space has been great for having our family and friends visit frequently. We have two of the most loving pups you will ever meet. Duke is a four-pound Yorkie terrier mix, and Frankie is a nine-pound Chihuahua terrier. We live in a family-friendly neighborhood with some of the best schools in the state and beautiful parks. Our neighborhood is full of growing families with young children. We love spending time entertaining, making dinner together, sitting by the fire, playing board games, playing kickball, going to concerts, and listening to all types of music together.
Our Extended Family
We have a large community of family and friends throughout the country. Although we are not all located within the same state, family is everything to us. We frequently take trips to visit one another in an effort to continue creating beautiful memories.
Erica has one brother, one sister, and two amazing parents who are so excited for grandchildren. Our large family gatherings run deep in Hispanic tradition, from delicious Mexican food to the Spanish language. Since tradition is important to us, we will embrace and celebrate our adopted child’s culture and traditions.
Erica’s sister and brother-in-law are expecting their first child this coming December, and we cannot wait for their baby boy to explore hiking and camping with their future cousin. Stephanie has one sister, who loves to travel and spend time in Colorado whenever possible. We love having our godchildren visit from Illinois every chance we get and often talk about how excited they all are to welcome a new baby to our family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Being mothers was one of our biggest dreams, and adoption is part of our journey toward motherhood. Stephanie’s childhood friend was adopted, and we knew very early on in the family process that we very much wanted to grow our family through adoption. We were blessed to experience the feeling of mothering. After many IVF cycles, Stephanie became pregnant with our daughter, Cori. Born at 29 weeks, we were able to spend five beautiful weeks with our daughter in the NICU before she passed. Put simply, this really solidified our desire to grow our family through adoption. The opportunity to continue to mother through the adoption process is a blessing and a privilege. We are honored by the opportunity to continue motherhood.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
