About Us
Hi! We are excited to introduce ourselves! We met back in 2016 while sitting next to each other on an airplane. At the time, we did not know we worked for the same company, but we decided to keep in touch. After several bump-ins, it was as if fate kept aligning us, and from that point on, we were inseparable. We live our lives full of adventure, travel, laughter, and spending time with family and friends, whether we are skiing on the slopes or wanting to get the family together for a family vacation in Florida or Puerto Rico. Other days we enjoy projects around the house and the backyard or going for hikes on new trails. When it comes to our careers, Jeff has been with the same company for 25 years and is currently an operations manager. DeAnna is a multi-unit operations manager.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a small town in Connecticut, halfway between Boston and New York City. We are walking distance from the parks, churches, farmers market, and schools are some of the best in the state. Our five-bedroom home is in a beautiful, safe, and quiet neighborhood, where we have a large, fenced-in yard with a pool. We have three dogs and one cat who all get along with children.
Our Extended Family
We come from different backgrounds but both with huge, loving families. Jeff has a younger sister who is happily married and a niece and nephew who are seven and four. Jeff’s parents live in New Hampshire on a lakefront property. Jeff has two aunts and two uncles who are all happily married.
DeAnna has two brothers, one older and one younger. One is getting married soon and will have a blended family of his own, which will add another two nieces and nephews. Her younger brother also has a three-year-old son. DeAnna’s family comes from a multicultural background of Puerto Rican and African American descent and has a family that includes 11 uncles and aunts. Both of our families get along as if they have known each other for decades.
We often throw a summer party that includes all family and friends and Friendsgiving annually. We enjoy doing Christmas with family and try to hold as many family gatherings as we can throughout the year as well as host some family vacations to keep everyone close and connected.
What Led Us To Adoption
The choice to adopt is deeply personal and significant for us. We both wanted to be established and stable in order to provide a future child a comfortable and happy home. We believe every child deserves a loving and stable home, and we feel compelled to provide that. After over a year of trying to have a biological child, we decided to look into other options. By choosing adoption, we are opening our hearts and our home to a precious life and are ready to provide security, care, and endless love. This decision stems from a desire to create a family built on love, compassion, and inclusivity. After speaking to a few friends who were adopted themselves, we knew this was the right path for us to take.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
