dear expectant mother

Dear Mom,

We want to express our deep appreciation and gratitude for you considering adoption as an option for your child’s future. It takes incredible strength and love to make such a decision, and we want to assure you that your child’s well-being and happiness would be our top priority.

Our journey to adoption has been a heartfelt one filled with anticipation and hope. We have dreamed and imagined opening our hearts and home to a precious child and providing them with a nurturing and loving environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive. It makes us smile to think that a child could be running around our hallways, and it is that little piece of the puzzle we know would complete us. We have always longed to become parents and have prepared ourselves emotionally, financially, and mentally to provide the best possible life for a child. Our hope is that we can raise a child who will be a good citizen who contributes to the community to help others. We can achieve this by making sure we support, encourage, and motivate them every step of the way as they grow.

If you decide we are the right family for your child, we promise to cherish, love, and nurture them unconditionally. Thank you for taking the time to consider us as possible parents for your child. We genuinely believe every child is a gift, and we are excited about the possibility of sharing our lives with a child and giving them the love and opportunities they deserve.

About Us

Dakota: I am a contracted financial crime investigator helping financial institutions with the people they serve. I love traveling in my free time, gardening, and cooking new recipes I find on Pinterest or from my family.

Gerardo: I am a First Lieutenant, medical officer, in the National Guard and also practice medicine as an urgent care physician assistant. I enjoy working out with my friends doing CrossFit five days a week. I play tennis, and in my free time, I enjoy watching TV and connecting with my mom, who lives in the Philippines.

Our Home & Pets

We live in the heart of South Carolina with family across the state as well as North Carolina and Georgia. Our quiet cul-de-sac consists of only 12 houses and has different family dynamics, from a family with small children to older retirees. We chose this neighborhood because of its access to resources and award-winning schools. Our local attractions include a zoo and botanical garden about 15 minutes away, downtown shopping, great restaurants, and a museum for children to learn about the history of South Carolina. We have two awesome dogs named Chance and Chloe. Chance is a loving Lab mix breed, and Chloe is our bird dog, an American Brittany, that loves to cuddle!

Our Extended Family

Gerardo: I have three older sisters and one younger brother. I have six nieces and nephews, and I spoil them! Their ages are from six months to ten years old. We enjoy spending time together laughing, singing, and dancing. We love karaoke, and we will sing until we can’t sing anymore every chance we can get!

Dakota: Most of my family lives in North Carolina and Georgia, where we frequently travel to visit. My mom and dad are retired. We LOVE holidays, and it’s very common for us to have themed holiday parties, like Tacky Christmas Sweater, or to wear tropical shirts while at the beach.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have both been blessed with creating our own version of family and what that means in our community and careers. With their love, support, and encouragement, we’re officially ready to become parents. We understand that parenthood is a lifelong commitment, and we are fully prepared to embrace the responsibility with dedication and perseverance. We came from different paths in life, but we were connected by the love of our families. We want to impart the love our families gave us to another person, and what better way to do that than to adopt a child! We have created emotional and financial stability to provide a nurturing environment for a child, and we are prepared to offer our unconditional love, support, and encouragement to our future child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
