dear expectant mother
I cannot begin to imagine the weight of this choice, but I do know that it comes from a place of deep love and selflessness. Our greatest dream is to welcome a child into our family—to love and nurture them unconditionally. If chosen, we promise to provide a safe, supportive, and joy-filled home where your baby will always be surrounded by love, encouragement, and opportunity. Your child will grow up knowing their story, the story that begins with your incredible strength and love. We would love to get to know you, hear your hopes for your baby, and answer any questions you may have. No matter what you decide, we respect and support you and wish you peace and strength on whatever journey you choose.
About Us
I want to begin by acknowledging the immense love and strength it takes to explore adoption. We are Curtis and Tamara! We have been married for 7 years but have been together for 8 great years. We find true joy in the kitchen, where love is poured into every meal. Our morning starts with a comforting cup of ginger tea, with a hint of lemon, mint, and honey, welcoming the sunrise. We are naturally laid back, with gratitude. I am an accounting associate, and my husband Curtis works in human resources and payroll. Our marriage is built on a foundation of mutual respect, laughter, and an unbreakable bond. We are best friends before anything else. We thrive in the outdoors—whether it's fishing, evening runs, baseball, football, basketball, or firing up the grill. We love summer BBQs, bringing people together over good food and laughter. We love, LOVE!
Our Home & Pets
We are a suburban family in the state of Illinois, with friendly and caring neighbors, great school districts, and tons of safe parks. We look forward every year to our local carnival festival, which offers many family-friendly activities. Our fur baby, Mack, loves his summer walks; the ambiance is safe and welcoming. We love and chose this community because it feels like home for us—peaceful and family-oriented.
Our Extended Family
We are a family of five—ourselves, our beloved sons (Carys, who is no longer with us but always in our hearts, and Tristen, our amazing 17-year-old who will soon be heading off to college), and our playful fur baby Mack, who is absolutely lovable. Our home is filled with love, laughter, and traditions that create great lasting memories and bring us closer every time. My husband has 8 siblings, and I have 13 siblings (one deceased), so we both come from large families. We love hosting gatherings on Saturdays in the summertime filled with Caribbean music, great food, and storytelling. Each person shares one thing they are grateful for and their hopes for the future.
What Led Us To Adoption
After several miscarriages, we started exploring other avenues of building our family. We honestly prayed every single night for a miracle, and God eventually led us to this path, the miracle of adoption. Ultimately, adoption is not just about growing our family; it's about sharing the love, strength, and joy that define who we are as a family. The excitement about adoption comes from the deep love and nurturing spirit we already share with our family and the children in our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
