About Us
Hello! We are a very creative, innovative, dynamic, friendly, and loving couple. Since meeting back in college, we knew there was something special about each other. For the past 17 years, we’ve been married and, within the last five years, have been renovating our dream family home in hopes to raise our future children in it. We continue to add big dreams and goals to our life involving our home and our future to make the best life possible. Our tremendous focus on health, wellbeing, marriage, and overall life happiness is what drives our decisions and pursuits. As big kids at heart, we love living life through the lens of a child and can’t wait to share that with our future children as they grow up with us. We know our creativity, innovation, and high energy are only going to blossom much more by finally becoming parents.
Our Home & Pets
From the moment we started dating, we both fell in love with the private neighborhood in southern Michigan that we were blessed to move into five years ago. It is a calm, serene, and natural setting with views of water everywhere. It is a magical lake lifestyle with amenities that include a private beach, a marina, and private streets for a safe and fun environment that we would have wished for ourselves growing up. We are the most active couple in our neighborhood, bringing family fun and social events to our community, from Fourth of July golf cart parades to festive Christmas and Halloween decorations, outdoor movie nights, and more. All of this sets the stage for the best family experience of our own someday.
Our Extended Family
We are a boutique family and share a tremendous bond with Kevin’s mom, who now lives right around the corner from us and whom we see on a regular basis. She has always been the core of our support in life and especially with our dream of becoming parents. Her support is unparalleled, and she can’t wait to become a grandmother someday soon.
In addition, we enjoy extended family reunion gatherings (over a hundred consecutive years) that include second and third cousins and other distant relatives once a year and for very special celebrations. We are blessed to have such loving and supportive family members who have always wanted to see the best for us. We have longlasting friendships with wonderful people nearby in our town whom we stay connected with and who are also supportive of our adoption journey.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted to be parents, from the moment we married and even as far back as growing up as children ourselves. Our only desire for each other in this life was to become parents someday, and we never thought it would be a challenge to do so. After trying for several years, we realized we could not make biological children and turned to IVF, which unfortunately was also not able to help us create our family. Although this has been the most difficult and sad period in our lives, we never wavered on the dream of still becoming parents. Our chance to adopt a child gives us this dream and, most importantly, the opportunity to raise a loved child in our world.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
