Dear Mama,

Cody is adopted and has so much gratitude for his experience. Cody knows this life your child is about to encounter, and he has experienced the beauty in it firsthand. We can only hope that you see who we are in these few pages and that it shows you the love, joy, and stability we give our family. We want you to know that no matter what your decision is, we are in full support. It is probably the hardest thing you will ever do. Wash it with love, and everything will be okay.

About Us
We’re Joscelyn and Cody, and we’re so happy you’ve come across our profile! Joscelyn has been singing since childhood and landed a record deal at 14 years old; it has been her career and passion ever since. Music is a big part of our everyday lives. Most mornings we crank up the soul music and dance around the kitchen. Joss also loves to bake breads and cakes and cook meals from scratch every day at home for family and friends—she sure stays busy. Cody served as a Marine and in the Air Force. Being a true protector at heart makes him the best dad a kid could ask for. He is kind and smart and always thinking ahead with a positive attitude and belief that nothing is impossible. Cody's passion is snowboarding, and he is a great teacher to both of our kids who have already been on a board and absolutely love it.
Our Home
Our home in Tennessee is just outside of Nashville, nestled on 2.5 acres of magical woodlands. We have a veggie patch where we like to grow tomatoes, carrots, herbs, and all sorts of other things. Hummingbirds, deer, rabbits, and all sorts of wildlife visit us. The neighborhood is safe and quiet—unless we’re blasting disco music in the mornings of course. Our home in England sits on eight acres of farmland, horse stables, an orchard and a walled garden, and three ponds the ducks frequently visit, only a few minutes from Grandma Wendy .
Our Extended Family
Cody is one of two, and Joscelyn is one of four siblings. Both our parents are very much involved with the kids and love them dearly. We have had some wonderful times spending holidays together. All of Joscelyn's siblings have had babies at the same time, so that's a lot of fun when we all get together.
What Led Us To Adoption
For us, adoption was a “must” before we even met. The fact that Cody is adopted is such a blessing for our family. Because adoption has been such a positive experience for our family, we want to continue down this journey. Joscelyn has always wanted to adopt and even more so since she visited orphanages around the world. When we met, all of our dreams seemed to line up. It was quite the magic moment when Joscelyn received the message from Cody saying, “All I want is an adopted baby and a beagle.” Babies and dogs and a lot of love to go around—what more could we want?

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
