dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

First we would like to thank you! Thank you for choosing life for your baby and for choosing to allow your body to go through the difficult changes that come with growing a baby. You are incredible! Since we have not personally gotten to experience this, we don’t know firsthand what it is like, but the miracle of creating a baby is a beautiful thing! You are a superhero in our eyes, and we will be forever grateful for your decision if you choose us to raise your precious miracle as our own!

We want to share all of our love and favorite things with your precious child. Being
God-fearing Christians, we will raise any child we are blessed with in the same manner. Your precious miracle will be loved unconditionally! They will always know you love them so much that you gave us the opportunity to raise them in a good, safe, love-filled home! From the bottom of our hearts and with our full souls, we thank you for this gift you are considering giving us!

Sincerely,
Shannon & Chris

About Us

We are a Christian couple who are very active in our church. Shannon has an outgoing personality, while Chris is much more reserved; together, our personalities complement and bring out the best in each other. Chris works as a care coordinator. Shannon works as an account representative as well as owning a wedding and event planning company. We have a love for many things, including traveling, hiking, camping, bonfires, stargazing, playing board and card games, and family gatherings. During the holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries, we often celebrate as a large family with traditions that have been passed down throughout the generations. As such, genealogy is very important to us.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a three-bedroom, Cape Cod-style home in a quiet neighborhood, where many of its residents are former and retired military personnel. We have turned our entire front lawn into a charming English garden with a variety of flowers and shrubs. We have a small backyard with a few trees. Our school district is among the highest rated in our area. There are several metroparks very close to our neighborhood, and we have an aviation museum within a very short drive. There are community events throughout the year that are always fun and family oriented. We currently have two dogs (both rescues), Kefi and Filos, and two cats, Cheetah and Moonbeam aka Chunkyfuzz. Our roommate also has an older dog named Hermes.

Our Extended Family

Chris is the fourth out of five children in his family. His dad was an only child, but his mother was the oldest of six. Chris has several aunts, uncles, and cousins on his mother’s side. Shannon is the second out of seven children. Shannon lived too far away from her dad’s family to connect well with them. We have 16 nieces and nephews ranging in age from 3 to 24 and living all over the country.

Traditions are a big part of who we are, so family gatherings can be loud and boisterous. Fun is always had, and memories are made! Each holiday carries different traditions for both sides of our family, and Thanksgiving is the BIG holiday celebrated by Chris’s family, while Christmas, New Year’s, and Greek Easter are the BIG ones celebrated by Shannon’s family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We both come from larger families. Shannon and her siblings were all adopted, and when we got married, adoption was always an option for us to look into. We are celebrating 12 years of marriage this year. Ever since the early days of when we first began dating, we both were very much wanting to have children and a family of our own. We love being around children and have several nieces and nephews across the country. We often have our nieces and nephews who live within our state stay with us over the weekend. We love helping to cultivate each child’s imagination and enjoy watching them learn new things that will help them as they grow.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
