dear expectant mother
We are beyond grateful to even be considered through this process. Thank you for taking the time to read and allow us the opportunity to share a bit of ourselves with you. We cannot fathom the level of emotions you are experiencing, and considering this decision for your child shows incredible courage and strength. The choice you are contemplating is an act of love, and we know it’s not easy. We respect you for what it has taken for you to reach this decision, and no matter what decision you make, it will be the right one.
We believe it takes a village to get through the journey of life, and should you choose us, we promise to fill that journey with so much learning, life, and laughter. We’ve both had successful careers that will allow us to provide a safe, stable, and healthy home. We have strong faith and believe in providing support for a child to grow to be their authentic self, pursue their passions, and become the best version of themselves they can be. If chosen, we will expose your baby to experiences, strategies to navigate challenges, diversity, foods, and a life filled with unconditional love and support.
About Us
We are Chris and Kelsey, originally from Illinois and now residing in NC. We are a story of when a city boy meets a country girl and they fall in love. We are opposites in many ways who find beauty and strength in our differences. We hold true to our individual identities while creating a beautiful blended unity together. We’ve been married 11 years after meeting through work. Chris knew from the beginning that Kelsey was the one and patiently waited as the friendship grew deeper. We both have outgoing personalities, where neither of us knows a stranger. Both of us like to stay active, whether swimming, fishing, hiking, playing sports, or staying home and continuing our passions of cooking for ourselves and others. Today we both enjoy the luxury of working from home. Chris continues in the IT industry, while Kelsey keeps everyone organized working as a project manager for a hospital.
Our Home & Pets
We are so blessed to have a home ready to grow into. We live in a lake community in a four-bedroom home with a shared pool. The neighborhood is full of youth who can be seen outdoors daily. The area has excellent schools and outdoor activities, with biking trails, swimming holes, farms, beautiful parks, and many organized sports. With a major city about 40 minutes away, there is always something to do at the discovery museum, festivals, professional sports, and so much more! Our beloved Lab, Lexie, was such a significant part of our lives who went with us everywhere. We love to keep active and experience as much as possible and hope to someday add another companion to our home.
Our Extended Family
Family is not only what you are given; it’s what you make it, and we believe our relationship with our friends fall into the family tree. Although our immediate friends and family are not in our area, we are in constant contact. Everyone makes regular trips to visit us, and we all make a significant effort to coordinate get-togethers when we go back to IL.
Chris’s sister and her husband and kids live outside a college town. The family enjoys getting together with their many cousins and going to college sports games, and our niece loves to dance. Time spent with the family also occurs in Florida, where Chris’s parents reside part of the year. Lots of time is spent on the beach, in the pool, at playgrounds, and eating fresh food.
Kelsey’s parents still reside in the family home built by her grandfather. All her cousins live in the area as well as her sister and her wife and two kids under the age of three.
When with our extended family, we enjoy cooking, eating, football games, cornhole, darts, and laughing. We are so blessed to have friends with a beautiful spring-fed pond where we enjoy swimming, fish fries, and fun.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always wanted to have a large family, but it wasn’t in the cards for us to have biological children. Kelsey has been surrounded by kids her whole life: babysitting from a young age, teaching middle school math for a while, and volunteer coaching. Chris found his connection with youth after being encouraged to coach. We love being the auntie and uncle and feel we both have so much love, knowledge, and experiences from our life journeys to share. The grandparents would love nothing more than more littles to spoil too! We feel there is a piece missing and have faith that what is meant to be will be.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
