dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for considering us as you seek out the best possible life for your baby. We know this is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make, and we admire your strength as you make this difficult decision in the best interest of your child.
Our home is full of laughter and joy, and we promise to give your baby all the love and opportunities we can. This child will have devoted parents, a caring big brother, and a supportive and involved family. They will be welcomed into a community of caring friends and neighbors who will help guide, protect, and nurture them.
We are a family that values acceptance, kindness, and lifelong learning. We believe in the importance of education, access to the arts, and giving back to our community. We encourage our children to be themselves and follow their dreams. We are eager to complete our family and discover the unique and wonderful individual this child will become. We have found beautiful fulfillment in being parents and are excited to experience the joy of watching our future child grow, learn, and thrive.
We understand there are challenging emotions ahead for all of us on this journey, and we will respect the type of adoption relationship you wish to pursue. We are open to any questions you may have about our lives, our family, and how we parent. We are incredibly grateful and look forward to getting to know you more. Thank you for considering us.

About Us
We met in 2009 in Los Angeles when a mutual friend set us up on a blind date. There was an instant connection, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We bonded over our shared love of theater, music, games, camping, and movies. We now live in Washington State, have been married for over ten years, and have a son, Sawyer, who was born in 2021. Kevin works as the Creative Manager for the marketing department of a tabletop gaming company, and Caitlin is the Director of Production for a large, regional non-profit theater. We both feel very lucky to have found careers in fields we are passionate about. We love spending our free time gardening, hiking, gaming, singing karaoke, attending theater, and watching TV. We also make sure to take time for ourselves. Kevin enjoys computer games and live action role playing games, while Caitlin likes reading, creative writing, and baking.
Our Home & Pets
We own a single-story home in a residential neighborhood. We have a large, fenced-in backyard with a playset and live within walking distance of several playgrounds, a nature trail, and our local schools. We have two indoor cats who are very friendly. We have also become great friends with our neighbors; we share baked goods, borrow lawn tools, and occasionally babysit for each other. We are a ten-minute drive to our grocery store, hospital, post office, and library. We are a 40-minute drive to the nearest large city, with easy access to zoos, museums, theaters, aquariums, hiking, and water activities. We absolutely love where we live and look forward to building onto our home so it continues to fit our needs long term.
Our Extended Family
Kevin’s parents live three hours away, so we see them frequently. They visit for holidays and birthdays, help with home projects, and babysit. Kevin’s two brothers live in California, but they game together online every week. Kevin’s family also texts photos, videos, and updates almost daily. Both Kevin’s brothers are married, and one has two children. Kevin has six aunts, three uncles, and five cousins, who we see at large family gatherings like weddings. We enjoy occasional shared vacations and frequent video calls.
Caitlin’s parents are divorced, but she is close with both parents. We visit a couple times a year, talk often, and have occasional video calls. Caitlin’s mom is single and her father remarried. Caitlin has a younger sister she has always been very close to and an older half-sister she’s become close to in adulthood. She also has a wonderful relationship with her stepmother and two step-siblings. Caitlin has two aunts and two uncles. One aunt lives nearby, so we see her often. Caitlin has ten cousins, all married with children. Caitlin’s extended family live all over the country; we do not see them often, but we remain close and love when we have the opportunity to visit.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are incredibly excited at the prospect of adopting and had considered adoption before having our first child. We are grateful to have our son; the experience solidified in our minds that adoption is the best path to grow our family further. We believe family is built out of love and is not reliant on blood relation. We have always wanted multiple children and are confident we can offer a truly loving, supportive, and safe home. We have friends and coworkers who have experienced adoption, and we are grateful they have been available to answer questions and provide support. We are eagerly looking forward to finding our future child and bringing them into our lives with joy and love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
