About Us
Hi there! We are Mike and Bre. Our story begins with a friendship of over fifteen years, and not a day goes by that we don’t feel lucky to be together. We've been married for five years, and our long history makes us a strong, close couple. Bre has a successful career in human resources but playfully insists her true calling is stand-up comedy. She enjoys running, dancing, playing the piano, and critter watching. Mike is an accomplished leader in IT, a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and a lifelong learner. He also makes up silly song lyrics, which makes us all giggle. Above all, family is the most important thing to us. We cherish quality time with our young son and Mike’s grown children, who are off at college. We have a great work–life balance and enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and taking trips together. We embrace a slower pace of life, savoring little moments.
Our Home & Pets
Nestled in a small town just a short drive from the city, we have the best of both worlds—a peaceful community with beautiful scenery and all the conveniences of city life. Every year we look forward to holidays, especially July 4th. Our city has a parade where candy is thrown to kids, a community BBQ, and we can watch fireworks from our yard. Our home has four bedrooms and spacious living areas. We also have deer, ducks, and other small animals around us. Our two dogs, as you can see from the photos, are inseparable. We prefer private schooling for small class sizes and the extra activities offered. We live in a special place and cannot wait to share it with your child.
Our Extended Family
Our extended family is scattered across the country, from coast to coast. Mike has two brothers who’ve built loving families of their own, one of whom is a naval officer. Bre’s sister also proudly serves our nation in the Navy. Even though our family lives across the country, we are fortunate to have Bre’s parents as close neighbors for added family support. Our extended family continues to grow with two nephews, a niece, and a diverse group of many cousins.
Family is at the heart of our lives. Despite the distance, we prioritize connecting with loved ones. These shared experiences deepen our bonds and create lasting memories, whether it's summer getaways or cozy holiday gatherings.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adopting has been a lifelong desire for both of us. Bre’s inspiration stems from her mother’s adoption story, which exemplifies how love and family from unexpected places can positively transform a person’s life. Witnessing the profound impact adoption had on her mother instilled in Bre a deep belief in its beauty and importance.
For Mike, his love for children and kindness, combined with his genuine desire to help others, makes this journey especially meaningful. Together, we hope to offer the same gift that Bre’s grandparents gave her mom, continuing this tradition of love. We are excited about the opportunity to give a child a safe, comfortable, and loving home, being there for ups and downs and creating a lifetime of happy memories.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
