dear expectant mother
Sometimes life can throw us for a loop in ways we never expected, and we are inspired by your courage to consider adoption for your baby. We know you have to be experiencing so many emotions right now as you try to decide what is best for you and your baby.
We are so grateful for your consideration and hope you can get to know us a little bit by looking through our profile. We are so excited about the opportunity to be parents because we know we have so much love to give. We want you to know we would love and support your baby no matter what. We promise, if you choose us, your baby will always feel loved, understood, and valued. We will encourage your child to learn and grow and try new things to find their gifts and the activities or sports they enjoy. We will teach your baby to respect, love, and care for others.
We know you will choose the right path for your baby, and we would be honored to be part of it.
About Us
We are Brian and Brant. We met online and have been together for over 15 years and married for over seven years. We enjoy spending time together traveling, camping, and hiking. We have a camper, and we love to take it out for long weekends; we call it the Emma-mobile because it allows us to take our dog, Emma, with us when we travel. When we are not out in our camper, we are usually at home working on a project around the house or watching TV. Brian is outgoing and is always cracking jokes and having fun. Brian likes to hike, play tennis, and take pictures. He works as a line tech for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. Brant is always calm and easygoing. He loves running and spending time out in the yard gardening and is the president of the local gardening club. He works from home as a director of engineering for a software company.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a small neighborhood in a medium-sized city in Tennessee. Our home is on three acres of land, with three-bedrooms and three-baths. We live right in town, but our home is surrounded by woods and we often see deer, turkeys, and other wildlife in our yard. We have a cat named Brixton and a small dog, Emma. Emma loves to run from one end of the yard and back. Our elementary and middle schools are within walking distance from our home. There is so much nature, like lakes and waterfalls, just a short drive away. Part of Disney’s The Jungle Book was even filmed nearby because of the area’s natural beauty.
Our Extended Family
Brian’s family lives about 45 minutes away, and we see them every couple of weeks. They like to spend time together walking in the park, going for a drive, and sitting around talking. Brian has a teenage nephew who comes and stays with us from time to time, and we go out to eat together, to the movies, and camping.
Brant’s family lives a little over an hour away. His sister and brother-in-law have two young kids we love to play with. We spend time on Brant’s family’s farm walking in the woods and checking on the cows, goats, and donkeys.
We also have an exchange daughter from Norway who lived with us for a year while she attended high school in the U.S. We were able to teach her a little about U.S. culture and our family’s traditions while we learned more about Norwegian culture. We are still in contact with her and visit once a year. She thinks of us as her second parents, and we can’t wait to introduce our Norwegian extended family to a new addition to our family as well.
What Led Us To Adoption
A few years ago, we hosted a foreign exchange student for a year while she attended high school in the U.S. It was a wonderful experience, but our home and lives felt empty after she left; it made us want a child of our own. We both agreed we wanted to expand our family via adoption, and we can’t wait to start this new chapter of our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
