dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot begin to imagine the strength and courage it takes to consider adoption for your baby. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to share our story with you and express our heartfelt desire to provide a loving and nurturing home for your child.
From the moment we decided to start a family, we knew adoption would be part of our journey. We have always dreamed of becoming parents, and despite facing numerous challenges, our hope and commitment to providing a child with a loving home have never wavered. We know we can provide a child with a safe, supportive, and joyful environment. If we are lucky enough to be chosen by you, we are ready to offer all our love and dedication to your baby.
Our home is filled with laughter, warmth, and a strong sense of community. Our three dogs and a pet rat are beloved members of our family and bring endless joy to our lives. We also have a wonderful extended family and close friends who are excited to welcome a new member into our circle.
We promise to nurture, support, and love your child unconditionally. We will provide a stable and happy home where they can grow, learn, and thrive. The fact that you are reading our letter gives us hope that we will one day be able to welcome a beautiful baby into our lives. Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We hold you and your baby in our hearts and thoughts and are hopeful for the journey ahead.
With love and gratitude,
Betsy and Josh
About Us
Hello! Our names are Betsy and Josh, and we are thrilled to introduce ourselves to you. We met about 20 years ago at a role-playing game event. For Josh, it was love at first sight, and he knew right away that he had to convince Betsy he was Mr. Right. After some persistence and many wonderful conversations, Betsy realized Josh was indeed the perfect partner for her. Betsy is fun-loving, bubbly, kind, and loyal, while Josh is strong-willed, smart, creative, and supportive. Josh calls Betsy his rainbow, and Betsy calls him her cave troll. We love spending time with family and friends, experiencing new adventures, fostering dogs, and playing various games. Betsy enjoys figure skating, singing, arts and crafts, and helping people, while Josh likes video games, writing, and problem-solving. Betsy works as a property manager for HOAs, and Josh manages our family's investments.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the suburbs of a large city in a beautiful neighborhood with top-rated schools, a children’s museum, a history museum, a vibrant downtown area, and fantastic park districts. Our home is a spacious, four-bedroom house that backs up to a field, playground, and elementary school. Our pets are family and our world. We have three dogs—Merry, Rayah, and Masquerade—and a rat named Nova. Merry loves to snuggle and sassily grumble talks to us, Rayah is sweet and patient, while Masquerade is spunky and affectionate. Nova enjoys riding on our shoulders and playing with Masquerade, who has decided Nova is her rat, not ours.
Our Extended Family
Family is very important to us, and we cherish every moment spent together. Our family includes our relatives and our close friends, who are an integral part of our lives. Although Betsy’s mom is no longer with us and we miss her terribly, her dad is strong and goofy, and his fiancée loves everyone unconditionally. Betsy’s younger brother is the kindest person you could ever meet, and her older brother is incredibly smart. Josh’s mom is incredibly supportive, and his stepdad is loyal and wonderful.
Our close friends are also part of our adopted family. We love spending time with everyone, especially during holidays like Christmas and Halloween. Christmas is a time when we remember how lucky we are to have such a loving family and embrace the magic of the season. Halloween gives us the chance to dress up and have fun together.
Food is always a big part of our gatherings as there is nothing better than sharing good food with wonderful people. We also celebrate Tjugondag Knut, the Swedish Christmas, which adds a unique and cherished tradition to our celebrations.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always knew we wanted children. Before getting married in October 2014, we decided to have a child of our own and adopt to share our love and expand our family in a meaningful way. Unfortunately, after trying to conceive biologically and through IVF, we experienced six heartbreaking miscarriages. While biological children are not in our future, our desire to become parents remains unwavering. Adopting a child would be a true honor and bring immense joy and hope to our family. We are ready and eager to provide a loving home and all our love to a child, and we can't wait to welcome a new member into our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
