dear expectant mother
It is hard to put into words how grateful we are for the sacrifices you’ve made. We imagine it has probably been an emotional journey at times, and we want you to know how brave and strong you are in our eyes. You’ll always have a special place in our hearts and in your child’s heart too.
Should you choose us, we will provide your child with a warm, loving home filled with joy and laughter. We will teach the importance of quality time spent with family and friends. They will have a childhood filled with camping trips and time on the lake and will learn to appreciate the simple moments in life. We’ll read books together, play sports in the yard, and dance around the house. They will be welcomed into a supportive family and will have lots of playmates their age. We are so excited to grow our family and hope this paints a good picture of the life we plan to give your child.
Most importantly, we will make sure they know they are loved by you, by us, and by God. We would be humbled, overjoyed, and grateful if you chose our family. Thank you for considering us, and we hope you’ll find peace in what you decide.
With love,
John and Becca
About Us
We’re John and Becca, and we’re honored to meet you! A little about us… Our relationship started when we met online, and true to her style, Becca made the first move. For our first date, we went hiking at a local waterfall, and we’ve continued going on many fun outdoor adventures since then. We got married in 2022 and look forward to a life full of fun memories with our future children. John is a steady rock. He is dependable, loyal, adventurous, and always ready to toss out a funny joke. John leads our family in faith and enjoys serving those in need. Becca is a kind, energetic, and creative gal. She has a big heart for others and always makes sure people feel welcomed. We enjoy hosting family, reading books together, and hiking at state parks.
Our Home & Pets
Our house is in a Minnesota suburb and has a fun backyard. We live in a neighborhood near several lakes, parks, and beautiful farms. At the local lakes, we enjoy fishing, swimming, and boating in the summer. Catching the sunset or sunrise is always a beautiful moment. Our community is very welcoming and has lots of local traditions, such as a firework show every 4th of July and several fall festivals. At home, we have a cat named Noodle. She is cuddly and curious. Her one trick is that she can fetch!
Our Extended Family
We are close with both sides of our family. Becca is one of four, and we often go boating, have family dinners, and spend holidays with her parents and siblings. She has 35 cousins, and a few of them are adopted! John is the youngest of eight, and he grew up on a hobby farm where his parents still live. We have 23 nieces and nephews on John’s side, who affectionately look up to their Uncle Johnny and Auntie Becca.
John’s family is Scandinavian, and every Christmas we make “krumkake,” a Norwegian dessert. In the winter, we do a weeklong cabin trip where we play broomball on the frozen lake, swim in the indoor pool, have pizza parties, and play board games. It’s a great way to grow closer with the entire extended family. Becca’s family enjoys celebrating the Fourth of July. Our day is typically filled with festivities such as a 5K run, a parade, a picnic, an evening BBQ, and an epic firework show to end the night.
Our family is very supportive of adoption, and we are excited to include a new little one in these family traditions.
What Led Us To Adoption
Three of our family members were adopted, and we have several friends who have adopted children as well. Through this, we’ve had great role models who have taught us how to build a loving and accepting home. Because adoption is already a big part of our family, we’ve considered it for a long time. Since we haven’t been able to have children biologically, we’re excited to adopt and share our love with a precious child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
