dear expectant mother
We can't imagine all the emotions and decisions you are facing. As we share our story with you, we want to emphasize that our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the opportunity to potentially become parents through adoption. Our longing to welcome a child into our lives is not just about becoming parents—it's about creating a nurturing and loving environment where a child can thrive, surrounded by warmth, laughter, and endless opportunities. We believe in the power of family and in creating bonds that are not defined by biology but by unconditional love and support.
We both have our dream careers and live a fulfilling life. Our prayer is that our baby grows up knowing the love of God and all parents. We want this child to know they can express all feelings without judgment and know they always have their space. We would like you to know your presence will always be felt in our home, and you will always have a place in our hearts. We are open to the beauty of an open adoption. Thank you for considering us as potential parents for your precious baby. We admire your strength and courage, and we are here to support you in any way we can throughout this journey.
With heartfelt gratitude and warmest regards,
Barbara and Vince
About Us
Greetings! We’re Barbara and Vincent. We reside in Illinois, where our Catholic faith anchors our family life, which is centered on values of love and community. Vince dedicates his days to firefighting and serving the community, while Barbara finds fulfillment in human resources within our local school district. Outside of work, we cherish our time together exploring the outdoors through hiking and indulging our passion for travel. Whether we're navigating scenic trails or discovering new destinations, we enjoy the shared experience. Our last big trip was to Japan, where we had the pleasure of honeymooning. We discovered amazing new foods, visited tourist destinations, and met many incredible people. Our favorite experience was visiting the beautiful parks and waterfalls; there is nothing like nature. We are currently planning our next trip to Italy to see the towns Vincent’s ancestors came from.
Our Home & Pets
Frank and Stella are the sweetest pups. Frank is a four-year-old Australian shepherd, and Stella is a two-year-old black Lab. We enjoy taking family walks to the park and playing catch in the backyard. We are currently located in the suburbs of a large city in a lovely four-bedroom house. Our neighborhood is very welcoming, and we have become friends with many of the neighbors. The school districts and strong community are why we moved here.
Our Extended Family
We both come from large families. Barbara’s family lives close by, and her four sisters often come over. Her parents encourage a passion for art as her mother is a professional chef and her father enjoys woodworking as a hobby. During the summer weekends, Barbara’s family enjoys spending time in their cabin located in Wisconsin. Here we enjoy fishing, hiking, family volleyball tournaments, and growing a vegetable garden.
Vincent’s family is very close even though some members live in other states. Most weekends we enjoy brunch with his grandparents. His three brothers often come to visit and bring his nephew. Together we go to baseball games and explore the city for new places to eat.
What Led Us To Adoption
Our journey toward adoption is deeply rooted in both of our families' experiences. Before we encountered challenges in conceiving, we were already drawn to the idea of adoption. Each of our families has embraced this adoption journey, and they are excited to help welcome our new cherished family member. Barbara’s twin cousins were adopted from Europe in 2002. They grew up just a couple blocks away and often came over to play. Today they have grown to be incredible men who are serving in the U.S. Army. We all love them very much. As a couple, we spoke about adoption many times before marriage. We are happy to embrace open adoption. We have lots of love to give.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
