dear expectant mother
In Judaism, there is something called a mitzvah, which means “good deed.” You know you have done a great “mitzvah” for someone when you provide a service that brings absolute and total joy to another, often with no reward or gratification - only the knowledge that you have changed someone's life. We cannot think of a greater mitzvah in this world than allowing a stranger to experience the joys of raising a child.
In return, we will make the mitzvah of surrounding this child with love, listening to them when they are sad, making them laugh, kissing their scratches, teaching them about the world and their place in it and providing them with warmth and stability.
There are many kind people who would take on this responsibility for your child, but you can trust that we will never forget the gift you have given us. While we may not have the biggest home or the most lavish lifestyle, we have an abundance of love and smiles to share. Your child’s life will be filled with adventure, music, books, laughter, and so much more. Thank you for considering us for this incredible opportunity.
About Us
Hello! We are Ashley and Jacob (or Jake!) from New Hampshire. We have been together for ten years, and although we are both originally from separate small towns in rural Maine, we've since traveled all the way to California and back together. We pride ourselves on our strong work ethic, compassion for animals, and willingness in trying new things. We both have a strong sense of humor and enjoy making each other laugh. We love to explore nature through hiking and swimming, but also enjoy staying in with a good book, puzzle, or game. Our favorite part of the day is coming home after work and spending time together cooking, making up songs, and enjoying each other's company. We never run out of things to say to each other!
Our Home & Pets
At our apartment in beautiful New Hampshire, we have the luxury of living close to both the beach and the mountains - an opportunity we take full advantage of! We live in a classic New England neighborhood with a very walkable downtown, which hosts some cute shops and restaurants. We are a short drive away from museums, parks, the ocean, and wonderful child-friendly hiking spots. At home, we have two cats with big personalities who love to lounge by the window in the sun and cuddle up on the couch at night.
Our Extended Family
While our immediate family is small, our extended family is quite large! In addition to both sets of our parents, Jacob has one younger sister and two grandparents, as well as one uncle and two cousins he is close with. Ashley's mother's side includes many, many cousins that hold a large family reunion once a year for Christmas and every other year in the summer. We celebrate Hanukkah with Jacob's family and we gather both of our families together each Thanksgiving. Each of us also has a couple of very close friends whom we have known for decades and we consider to be like family. Your child would have an upbringing with a blend of cultures and an entire village of caring, excited extended family members all dedicated to loving and supporting them.
What Led Us To Adoption
The idea of building a family through adoption has always felt as natural to us as any other path to parenthood. Ashley has always had a strong desire to adopt, regardless of whether she had biological children, and Jacob wholeheartedly agrees. When we faced the decision of pursuing fertility treatments or adoption, it became clear that adoption was the best choice for our family. Ultimately, no matter how we become parents, our goal is to provide a child with the same loving, compassionate, and fun home environment that we both grew up in.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
