dear expectant mother
We’d like to start by letting you know how much we respect and admire your strength and courage in considering an adoption plan. We know this decision cannot be easy, and we are grateful you are considering giving us the chance to become your child’s parents. We chose to go the route of adoption when we were unable to conceive naturally. We feel we are going to be amazing parents, and with the support of our friends and family, this child will never go a day without feeling loved and supported.
More than anything, we want you to know we will love your child unconditionally and will nurture him or her to grow up to be the best person he or she can be. We promise to raise him or her with values such as generosity, kindness, and respect for others. We also promise to encourage your child’s hopes and dreams and to provide the best possible education. We want you to be a part of your child’s life at any level you're comfortable with. We’ll make sure they grow with the understanding and appreciation of the tremendous sacrifice you made out of love. Your child will always know where he or she came from and how much you loved them.

About Us
We reconnected online ten years ago and have been married for eight years this October. We grew up together in Connecticut and would describe our marriage as one big, happy adventure. Ben manages a mobility supply company; in his free time, he enjoys playing video games, playing basketball and baseball, and listening to a wide range of music. On any given day, you can find Ben outside playing fetch with our dogs and singing offkey to some music. Ashley manages two optical offices; in her free time, she enjoys being outside with our dogs reading a book or inside trying a new recipe. As a couple, we love going to Disney, the beach, and taking road trips to new locations and restaurants. We also make sure to have “family night” once a week, where we play card or board games.
Our Home & Pets
We are blessed to be able to own a beautiful four-bedroom two-bathroom house in a quiet neighborhood. We have a big fence in the backyard that will be perfect for a playscape. We have access to one of the best school systems in the state. One of the best perks of our home is that we are located 45 minutes from Disney and other related attractions. We have three pets: Casper, Elsa, and Dory. Casper is a five-year-old Great Pyrenees; he is a big, fluffy polar bear and loves to cuddle. Elsa is a nine-year-old Maine coon cat; she was the first pet we got as a couple. Dory is our two-year-old Great Dane Labrador mix; she is a big lap dog.
Our Extended Family
Ben has one older brother, who lives in North Carolina with his wife. They love to travel and bring back unique souvenirs from their travels. They come to Florida often, and we always plan a bunch of fun day trips while they are visiting. Ben’s parents live a short 15 minutes away, and we make sure we have one dinner a week with them or do a weekend road trip to local zoos or festivals. He also has family that live throughout the USA. Although his family is spread out, they make sure to keep in touch and are close knit.
Ashley has one younger brother, who lives in Maine. He is only 19 and is excited to be an uncle. Ashley’s parents live in Maine also. Even though they live far away, we make it a point to talk on the phone weekly, and we travel back and forth to visit. Ashley comes from a big family with a lot of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her family resides mostly in Connecticut and Maine and remains very close with social media.
Family traditions are really important to us, and we have many fun traditions around the holiday season that we participate in.
What Led Us To Adoption
After being married for five years and reestablishing ourselves in Florida, we made the decision that we were ready for our next great adventure: completing our family. We experienced a few failed attempts and were given the unfortunate news that having a child naturally would not be an easy journey for us. We did a lot of research on different options and made the decision that adoption would be the best one for us and our family. We chose this because we have seen how adopting a baby can touch and transform a family for the better through our friend who was adopted into an amazing family and Ben’s aunt, who adopted a little boy who has now become an integral part of the family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
